Comedy X events

I'll keep this updated as it goes, but my ol' homie puts on these DIY standup comedy showcases at a local art gallery/former church. I play some music with a couple buddies as the house band.
These are a FANTASTIC time. So come down, grab a bite and get weird before the show, and head out after to one of the local bars or venues for independent music. New Bedford mass is a tiny shithole of a town, that's actually a pretty happening.
Whether its a good or bad comic it's always equally amusing. Sometimes watching someone bomb is just as good.
Rossiepoo, you wanna perform at one of these, you definitely have an in.

As far as New Bedford, downtown a really great place to eat and drink. There are a bunch of nice bars, some good, cheap food and a certain trendyness about the old city. Don't be disinclined to visit the city if you haven't been there recently. If your looking for any specifics post up.
