Had a great day lads thanks Dave and Cheese looking forward too the next ride
Thanks to Dave for a safe, fun, sporty ride. Thanks to Cheese for running sweep all day. 294.6 miles door to door. Good ride, and good riders
.
Great ride today all! The image below was a memorable area. The pink is the route and the gray is where we actually went. The bridge was closed so we climbed up a mountain and back down again. At the bottom we can't just claim victory for getting around the closed bridge, we actually cross the closed bridge on the sidewalk which we could have done originally. The mountain road we took was Brown Rd., appropriately named because it was DIRT.

Lol. "road" is a generous term for some of the things we saw today :-)
I saw people riding the sidewalk and was completely like... "Uhhh... My bike is significantly wider that all of the others. This could be bad." It was fine.
Nice day and nice seeing everyone. Thanks for leading Dave and sweeping Cheese.
I make a motion that Cheese leads future rides and Dave sweeps.
Another epic DucDave ride. The post-lunch ride had it all...a spirited pace on the sweet VT twisties, some friendly cagers that moved over, and lastly...no DucDave ride would be complete without a dirty excursion down a class VI roadAnybody take a pic of our fellow rider pointing at the "Not A Thru Road" sign?!?!
Good ride, much fun.
Thanks, Dave and Cheese.
It was very nice to get a good ride in while I'm having a visit home.

Thanks Dave and Cheese. Yes, another great ride. I actually enjoyed the dirt excursion. I had a good laugh when we crossed the bridge on the sidewalk (as we should have done the first time we got to it)

Holy crap that was fun!
Nice surprise seeing Bill and Bruce, it's been a few riding seasons since we rode together.
Brown road, next time let's do it in the rain ?
Dave and Rob. It's fun every time, thanks!
I'm glad you all had fun. I was actually trying to make it, but after I stopped for gas in Windham, my bike wouldn't restart and I missed the ride. Had to get a jump and got home fine. I was bummed, I love that ride. Maybe I'll make the next one.
Sorry to hear Eric. Next one hopefully!
That was me. I don't mind dirt roads. I'm just not good at U-turns!![]()

Yesterday was a great day for a ride and 23 riders turned out for, ribs, some excellent twisties and some less excellent dirt! Hats off to all of you...'specially the full on sport bike riders...for keeping the shine and minimizing the whine! Well done!
Thanks to everyone for showing up! Special thanks to Rob for his excellent sweep...including a bit of 'leading from behind' when my Garmin decided that all satellites were rebooting or something.
Good to see Bruce and meet Andrea. (We're talking about heading to Europe and riding the Alps. Any interest anyone?)
Congrats to Moe for his recent move, marriage, and baby on the way.
Here are a few pictures. I'd love to see any other pics from the rest of y'all!

I can't find that road we turned on to after the bridge anywhere. It was an immediate left. My Garmin maps dont show it. Neither do Bing or Google maps. And in your picture it doesn't show it as the immediate left after the bridge. Weird...
But that was definitely the bridge...and all we had to do was stay on depot street another 100yards and get on Scenic 131. I fixed this for next year though that bridge will likely be done!

Glad to see new and old faces alike on an awesome day to be on a bike, need to invest in an adventure bike for those dirt roads overall a great ride as always thank you Dave, Ken, Cheese, MrTlr-(FJ1300) and the usual suspects.
I really enjoyed the last leg. Learned about some great roads close to home I didn't know existed before then. Got home a little dehydrated but what a great day all around.
Thanks to all for the good company and warm welcome on my first ride with the group. I'll be back for more!
