Cabin Fever Party

I will be hosting the second annual (as opposed to the second anal, which was not so popular) Cabin Fever Party at my home in Raymond NH on February 22. It's a family-friendly motorcyclist daytime get together to help those suffering from PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome). I'll be providing drinks. Bring a dish to share. I have a decent sledding hill that will keep kids entertained. PM me for directions and other details if you are at all interested

Reminder for the Cabin Fever party tomorrow. It's still on, hope some of you can make it. There's a bike show at UNH in Durham NH this weekend too. It's only about 20 minutes from my house and therefore somewhat convenient if one wished to attend both.

Directions:

From Rt 101 take exit 5, go right at end of ramp.

Go left (north) on Rt 107 at the T-Junction, and take immediate right to go north on Rt 156.

Take left at the Pawtuckaway State Park sign onto Mountain Road.

Take left at the top of the steep hill into Prevere Road.

House is fourth on the right. Boat is burried in the snow out front.

Call me at 603 895 0632 if you get lost.

Dope slaps all around to those that didn't make it, which includes everyone here, I think.


It was a good cabin fever party. Fireplace was crackling, lots of great food (lasagna, scallops wrapped in bacon broiled in maple syrup, armadillo balls, chili, apple pie, taco salad etc) was consumed, black and tans were swilled by the pint, white wine was flowing, good cigars were smoked in the garage, WSB Imola 2002 races were shown on a big screen TV while it snowed like a bastard outside. Women folk talked about whatever it is they talk about (sounds like "wa wa wa waa wa waa" (think Charlie Brown) to me). Men folk talked about bikes, track days, air compressors, boats and snowmobiles. Kids ran around screaming when they weren't outside sliding. It was like a winter block party only with poeple you like, not your neighbors.

Probably should have written: "Harley riding, married to dysfunctionally alcoholic trophy wife, utterly boring, dog hating, whiny-snotty nosed-kids, neighbors." Which sums up the things I don't like about some of my neighbors. Some of them are alright. Everyone around me has 3 to 50+ acre lots so at least we are spread out some.
