Ok guys, lets start getting this stuff figured out. Those of us who have been before sure as hell better remember what we need. Just add to the list of what you are bringing, and what you think we need.
I'll be bringing:
-Compressor/DC Power Source
-Misc. Tools
-Front/Rear LP stands
-Small Pickup with Tie-Down straps (useful in case we gotta go pick up a sick bike)
Things we should bring (move it to your "bringing" list if you plan to bring it) :
-Camcorder(s)
-Mounts for camera on bikes
-Cleaning Supplies (buckets, spounges, detergent)
-LOTS of rags
-Ramps (to work with the trucks)
-Couple of larger coolers (from past experience, the fridges aren't big enough for the necessities AND food)

Randy, ask Mike to check with Ron and Nancy to see if the tire changer will be at the upper house. My understanding is that it will be available for us to use, therefore you will only need the tires. KB also has tire irons if the machine isn't there!
I am going to bring the same as I brought last year. A set of rims with street tires and a set of rims with takeoffs! The usual tools, stands, Honda Polish, chain wax, rain gear, duct tape, 2 sets of gloves, riding boots, hiking boots, swim trunks, flip flops, a little laundry detergent, small backpack with camel bag, tank bag and so on. This year I will not have a tank mount, Bruce will have his plus he has a camcorder (hopefully he can keep up...).
Ryan, you shouldn't need a grill, both houses had one last year.
I'll edit this when I think of more

I'll bring whatever we need. As the 14th is a race weekend I think I might end up driving my truck down and leaving thursday afternoon / evening to get to loudon and a good nights sleep. I'm trying to decide now.![]()
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
i'm bringing my truck, 1/2 squids trailer, tools, stands, bike pump, clothes, my bike, nates bike, joes bike, maybe that 4th bike (paige's?) in the bed, riding gear, some food, some drinks, beer, digi cam
that should be good. let me know if there is something else i am supposed to bring with me.

I'm not going to spent that kind of time, I want it to be a 10 minute swap or not doing it cause I will have to swap back for the ride home.Originally posted by skiierx

So, I think I have a solution to my race weekend issue. Any chance someone can drop me off at a nearby airport sometime friday or even thursday night?

Sorry to shit on your idea, but that is a 8-9 hour round trip to drop you off unless I am mistaken. Knoxville is the closest city that has an airport (I think).

You are not backing out you wuss! you have no idea what these roads are like...therefore you must go and see for yourself. We will get you to a airport! Worst case there has to be a bus that is going to Raleigh-Durham from the casino, so we can dump you there! Knoxville isn't too far at all but not sure what a flight out of there will cost you. Check it out too though. We can make it a beer run!

The reason I said 8-9 hours round trip to Knoxville is that it took us about 4 hours to get from the house to Knoxville on our way home last year.
Just go! Screw racing!![]()

the knoxville airport is actually in Alcoa, a lottle closer than knoxville, it takes about an hour and a half to get there from the house conservatively

Well I have some friends in Ashville, and there's a cheap flight from there on friday. So if anyone with a vehicle wants to cart my ass up there thursday night and maybe grab some drinks with a fun crowd and spend the night there let me know. Otherwise I'll have to climb on the back of KB's bike, and hang a bottle of vodka on a stick n' sting in front of him like they used to do with carrots to make the donkeys go. OK kids, I'm not backing out, but I will have to burden someone for a lift. Thanks.Originally posted by RandyO

If not, I'll take you.
