Hey LLeash why did you let the TLR go? How is the ZX treating you?

I was at the track on Thurs for the open session, unfortunately I brought 2 too many wheels and was forced to spectate. I'll be out there next season though. What's up with the old guy at the window, I usually just smile and wave as I drive by but now I hear that they try and charge you for watching motorcycles go zoom zoom?? What's wit dat?

I got rid of the TLR cuz I put a feeler out there on craigslist a coule weeks ago to see if I could get any bites in September. I got a good price for it, and the new owner got a good machine. I wanted to get something newer and lighter than the TLR.

The new ZX is getting warranty work done to it(it leaks fuel). There is also a recall getting addressed as well. I really like it, but I'm used to better workmanship and quality that I've seen on my Suzuki's. On a good note, the ZX is much faster than I was expecting. It's stupid fast!

If it gets done this afternoon, I can meet you guys at the DMV for a ride. If not, have fun and don't wait too long on my account. Go out and ride.

I need to get the proper springs put in for my weight still. So we have a long way to go before I have it ready for the track next spring.

I don't like the stock Dunlop Qualifiers as much as the Michelin Pilot Powers. It seems the PP's have better initial grip when the tires/roads are cooler(read:street riding). I obviously have no position about the track yet. Supposedly Michelin is introducing PP's in the 190/55 size that my 10R calls for. I'm not sure if they are going to be the 2CT's or regular PP yet. I'll be fine with the Q's for now though. Season is winding down.

Bactine, go for Tony's Trackdays. Its a bit friendlier environment than an open practice session(You need a racing license or racing school completion card of some sort I beleive in order to participate in open practice).

Don't wait for me... I found the fuel leak. I need a new fuel tank. Its got fuel seeping from a weld at the back near the pivot. I'm down for a week(I hope its just a week).

Hey LLeash I know what you mean about finding something lighter and newer, I'm toying with the idea of selling my zx7 it's just too much of a tank...

That's a rough deal about the poor welding, hopefully they get that worked out for you asap

I'm definitely going to attend a Tony's Track Day, I've only heard good things, this season just didn't give me enough time to secure some better gear, I'll be all set in the spring though, How did your Sept track day go?

I've seen some prices on those new CT2's and they are definitely up there I've yet to try some PP's I'm running Bridgestone Bt-012ss now and have no complaints on the street
