I think it would be interesting to have a grudge match between yam 600's I mean the dyno draging is one thing but get out on the tar its a whole new ball game.

Ne dragway will even announce the " grudge match" to get the fans going.

not to make is seem like I had a handy cap on the dyno drag but between the weight of me and the weight of my bike.. The guy didn't think I would even be able to get the drum rolling... I did but, It seemed to be alot harder than just normal drag racing... I will definitly be going May 1 as long as it is not snowing or showers... and I think it would be cool to see what other 600's are doing ... hey, I see it this way if i lose I lose to a guy. if I win ... I will gain braggin rights and if i lose to another chic I'll give her braggin rights and the pink slip to the bike DOH hope to see you all there

Hey Jen,
I'll have to get up there, and we can "Setup" the bike for drag racing. I can show you a couple of tricks too!
Make sure you have all your Street suspension adjustments documented, because they will change for the 1/4 mile.
Don't even bother asking me to run, I haven't done it in years, and I'll get dizzy when I let the clutch go!

Having never raced untill last night, it certaily was fun. I shaved .92 seconds from my first to third run.
12.74 at 111.97pmh.
Let see the first run I put it in neutral,
Second run I brought the front end up.
And the third went smoothly, Hench the fasted. Considering I only bought the bike a week ago, I'm happy, but I still can't wait to do better.

Did you try... damn what's that dude's name, the former drag racer guy there! fook! Anyway, his suggestion about just laying right down on the tank, put your weight as forward as possible when you're taking off... might help to keep 'er down. Also the wheelie bar was a cool idea, lol. Hey, have ya seen either of them Gixxers there, the ones with the extended swingarms?

Jen, when I had my R6 my first and only time I went up to epping was with R7 and Todd my best time for the day was 11.3 I want to see If I can better that with the R1. I'm sure its going to be a hand full when is the next time you guys are going?
