Blessing of the bikes 2016

The local Blue Knights here on Cape Cod are hosting the annual "Blessing of the Bikes" rain or shine at West Dennis Beach May 1st. They've had 1000+ bikes show up in years past- I rode my bicycle to it a couple years ago to see what it was all about since I didn't have a motorcycle at the time. This will be my first time attending and would love to meet up with some of you after, maybe ride down 6A to sandwich for pizza at Moto Pizza.

Great organized event, attended a few times. Trying to get some riders together for this one or the Providence blessing (**31st Annual Blessing of the Bikes Festival** **Bikers and Families Welcome – May 1, 216** – RAIN OR SHINE – May 1, 216 The Biggest Bike Blessing in New England – Oldest on the East Coast) on the same day. Will depend on weather and participation (fellow riders are from RI area) but this Cape run is much preferred. Anyone see any meetup times or locations posted yet? I'm coming from Swansea, MA and in the past there used to be a meetup at Motor Sports Accessories on State Road in Westport, MA with good turnout. Heck, even a police escort onto 195 back in the day!

The priest was in the Giant tow truck, he drove by blessing the bikes around noon.
