All cosmetic. I can touch up most of the plastic so that it not TOO bad... a decent crack in the fairing on the right hand side (where it fell). The tank is what I'm most annoyed about... gouged down to the metal at some point. I'll probably start a thread re: plastics on eBay/Hong Kong/China. I can get a whole set of aftermarket fairings for $300, but I'm leery... Anyway...
Have fun w/ the ride, I was on the roads this morning (in the car) -- a little wet, but the sun was coming out.

The Douglas forest is the best part of that loop. That tight ass chicane that dumps into an uphill right hander. Gives me half a chub thinking about it. Wish I wasn't at work...
That is a different road Chuck, I still feel bad I took ya that way that day. I don't think I realized how new a rider the little women was. My Bad....
I DO have a couple of new, sick roads I found yesterday..... I will be adding these roads into the twisty route.![]()

You guys missed a nice ride. Wide open road. Minimal traffic. Expensive food. And a live blues band at the Bean.
Annalisa & I did rode 2 up, since she wasn't comfortable with the thought of wet roads and leaves.
Only swamp showed.
And Mark, it's not that cold out. I guess Yamaha riders are pussies.![]()
I hung around watching the Blue's Band and eating Clam Chowder till 1:20, Sounded excellent and the drummer was wearing a huge Bear Head...HAha..
There was a large group of Moto Guzzi guys there today.... Some cool ass OLD bikes
Silly me never pushed the clock back on the bike/phone and it was really 12:20 when I left.....
The Back Roads were fine with minimal leaves... Good ride!
Sorry I missed you guys.
We got there just after 12:00. We ate indoors right in front of the big picture window. The band was right on the other side of it.
We were there until about 30-40 minutes after they stopped playing. Headed homeward at about 2:15 or so.
We only had 2 bikes. My silver 1000RR and a solid red Busa.

i was there from about 1145-2 or so. i remember seeing the red hyabusa when i was drooling on the 1098r

That doesn't suprise me. My dad and I were standing there as he left and my dad was talking about how he didn't understand how someone older then him can lean over like that. Then he pulled away at the 4 way stop sign and my dad was like oh well I guess if he goes 100 miles an hour like that everywhere the wind will just keep him up.
