Hmmm..... maybe in...
anyone know the route, i was thinking of bringing my gf along on the ride, is it 20$/bike or /rider?
Not sure of the route as its a different destination than the last couple years. Usually a good mix of backroads through southern RI then over the line into CT. Probably run through CT parallel to RI into Foster.
$20 per person which includes lunch and door prizes ticket.

they give away alot of door prizes...almost everyone last year walked away with something...i got a bottle of bike cleaner...costs about 10 bucks at most places..so for 10 bucks to enjoy the day, good food (all you can eat!) and the money goes to a good cause...its a terrific day.

will this be a super fast paced ride, like should i not be coming two up?
Its not supposed to be. I would expect most will ride a reasonable pace. 2 ups aren't the majority but there are always some.
2013 ZX6R-636
some good roads, 7 thru 19 make up part of my commute to work and 41 thru 47 make up a section of one of my border Loops
I wouldn't anticipate fast, but some of these are small back roads so depending on # of riders & pace there could be a lot of stop&go and slow corners.
Typically the ride gets broken down into a couple, maybe three different groups, unlike the HD runs that go by my house for like 5 minutes of rolling thunder.

Looks like awesome weather for sunday.
2013 ZX6R-636
Bump........
gonna be 80 degrees Sunday, perfect weather for this ride. I'll be there around 10 with my buddy and his Thunderbird Sport.
Great day for a ride today. Over 130 riders. Didn't get to meet anyone from NESR but hope some made it and had a good time. And once lunch was over a few of us got together and had a great 60 mile ride back through the twisties of CT.

Hey were you on the yellow R1 with the 2 GoPro's?
2013 ZX6R-636
Those 2 sidecar rigs were insane. One was a ZX14, the other a 1100XX. They tore up the backroads on the return trip.
2013 ZX6R-636
Wow, who's good lookin' speedy is that?
NICE day for a ride. In keeping with the spirit of the charity of the day, our group got lost a few times. I ended up asking some kids on horses where the heck the Mt Hygeia Fire Station was. Luckily there was still some chicken left.
Haha, in my group a friend led it and took some good liberties with the route. We even came across some others on the ride going the opposite way on one of the roads, well we were the ones going the opposite way.

What a day..perfect weather...lots of amazing bikes..and yes those side cars were badass...
My girl just finished her riding class about a month earlier (never road a bike before ever). I found her a mint 03 Honda Shadow 600 for a first bike which she has taken out 2-3x every week to put some miles under her belt. She did the ride, no issues and when finished said "I had a blast, I could have gone further" yes...she is bit by the riding bug.
and that is my DRZ400SM on the right
