I stopped by and it looks pretty good. Two different tracks, one longer and faster the other shorter and tighter. Pricing can be found on their website K1 Speed | K1 Speed Indoor Go Kart Racing - Twenty-Eight Centers Nationwide pretty reasonable though. Three races is $45 plus a $6 license good for a year I think. They have other packages too that are slightly better deals but only worth it if you'll be there a lot.
That being said, I can make it on Wednesday night 12/23/15 and would like to do so. Who's in? What time is better for most? I can shoot to be there for 6:00PM unless someone changes it up.

Well then......looks like Wed isn't such a good night after all. I'll likely still head over there and take a few laps if anyone would like to join.
Let me know when better nights to go come up. Like nhbubba I am roughly 15 min away at work so heading over on a weeknight shouldn't be a problem.
I am on rt38 in Tewksbury now, so I am up for a few laps after the new year.
can go after the holidays, like to see it too. last on those was at f1 Boston. I will bring my own helmet.

Looks cool. I would be in for some laps once the holidays blow over.
Went last night and did a couple of races with my brother in law. Only did the longer of the two tracks. Carts are plenty powerful and I sort of fit in them. Knowing going in that the standings would be based on lap time vs. finishing order made it nice as we left each other alone and went for lap time. I have some learning/adapting to do to completely figure out the carts. As is typical they are set up to understeer.
Let me know when people are interested in going. My account is stocked up and ready to go.
Ooh..... hmm.... Imma have to give this place a shot.

Ok, holidays have passed and my account at K1 is loaded up with races so who wants to go and when?
Tues, Wed and Fri evenings are best for me as well as weekends.

Ooofh, 3+ hours drive time, 200 miles... surgery the next morning, I'm going to have to bail on this one.
Ah damn, I'm heading to Japan tonight or I would definitely be up for this. Gonna start organizing some trips over there after work, I'll keep you guys in the loop when I do.
That was fun. K1 is a MUUUUCH nicer facility than Maine. I'm still not entirely sold on the electric karts; I think I prefer gas. But it was fun and the price isn't that offensive. Course is interesting and a reasonable challenge.
We need to get a decent sized group go go as to fill out a session on track because sharing track with asshats is like running Friday race practice as a Novice.
My fore-arms ache though. Seems like more work hustling these karts around than most.

No I have not.
I've done Checkered Flag electric indoor karts in Haverhill. That place is a pathetic kiddie ride at a podunk town fair in comparison to K1. Will never go back.
I've done the gas karts @ Maine Indoor Karting in Scarborough. That place is a lot of fun. I think I prefer the gas karts there to the electric ones @ K1. I think I prefer the average clientele I've crossed paths with at MIK to some of the jokers I shared the track with @ K1 last night. But the facility is way nicer than MIK.
I've done outdoor gas karts @ F1 Outdoors in East Bridgewater. That place may be my current favorite. Gas karts on a big outdoor track that you can positively rip on. It helps that I managed to have a very good day and completely school all of my coworkers the day I was there.
Some day I'll go here.
They race karts on the auto-x course with cumberlandmotorclub.com
I rented one once and it was very fun to have a 125cc kart out on a big course and let it stretch its legs a bit
Comparison from my perspective (larger human both in height and weight)
F1 Boston tracks are more interesting due to elevation changes and the fact that they can be linked to each other for a long lap
From what I remember the cost at F1 Boston is higher than K1 Speed - haven't checked lately
Electric Karts have instant torque that the gas powered Karts with the centrifugal clutches do not have - if I get held up at all at the bottom of the uphill at F1 Boston I am done. The clutch struggles to get engaged while trying to climb the hill.
F1 Boston is capable of running longer races than K1 Speed - the batteries in the electric karts make it so that the karts can only be run for shorter periods of time
F1 Boston requires you to wear "fire suit" - they do not have any that even come close to fitting me causing me to have to put one on that prevents me from breathing while driving their karts
K1 Speed seems to want to garner the middle class/family clientele as they don't have the facilities that they have at F1 Boston with the restaurant, catering and bar scene
I would say that between K1 Speed and MIK the facilities are on par with each other and the thing I like about the electric karts is that the environment is climate controlled due to no exhaust fumes so winter running isn't cold and summer running shouldn't be extremely warm. Plus, K1 Speed is much closer to me than MIK.
I think there is fun to be had at all these venues and it mostly comes down to what is closer to you, where you can meet up with a bunch of friends and have some fun and on a much smaller level which is more affordable.
I am interested to try the electric karts sometime. Especially in the winter. Paul and I went to see a movie at the Hampshire Mall the other day and they were adverting for karting coming to the mall? We didn't think much of it. But later creepy facebook advertised this: Go Cart Racing in Hadley, MA - Go Karts Hadley, MA - Autobahn Indoor Speedway Hadley, MA. Sounds like it will be the same thing.
