The next NESR F1 day

The next date will be Sunday January 9 2005, sticking with the plan of the second Sunday of every month.
I have a feeling we're going to have A lot more people for this one so chances are the races i reserve will fill up fast and someone will have to reserve a second set.

Even though I am a heavyweight and have a really hard time fitting in the cars at F1 I would have loved to join you guys. However I will be out of town for work in the god forsaken city of sin, Atlantic City NJ, when this event occurs. Hopefully one of these months I will be home for the second Sunday of the month and be a ble to join in the festivities.

i just went there today w/ a bunch of car guys... 11 of us... we got there BEFORE THEY OPENED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC... and STILL couldn't all get in a race together till 12:30 it DEFINITLY helps if you have someone w/ an anual license to call, reserve & pre-pay for it.

And in case you were wondering.... i reped my bike bro's well & whooped ass in both races we did (it helps that i weigh like 10 lbs)

I'll see if i can scrape together the cash to do a race or two on the 9th

You guys were lucky to be able to get in at all, last time we couldn't even get 1 extra person in, let alone a group

It'll be the same deal as last time, i'll reserve for up to 5 (including myself) for all 4 races. If everyone wants to do 5, i'm ok with that as well.
Someone either has to have an annual license or purchase one if we want more

I'm going to try and get on both tracks as well

well we were at the desk right at 9am & asked for the first race for 11 people.... last time we didn't get there till 11 & weren't able to race untill 4

now... 4 races??? too rich for my blood, i'll do two... and i've never done track 2, but i've heard it's not as good as 1... though it is a little faster

First reservations should be called in Thursday.
5 races is fine with me maybe 3 back to back on track 1 and then a 20 minute brake and 2 races back to back on track 2?

If we can't get track 2 again, we should to 3 back to back then a 20 minute brake and another 2 back to back all on track one

The new racetrack is open in Foxboro now.
I stopped in and checked it out and it wasn't looking too shabby. There is no bar like F1 but they do have munchies. Both tracks are completly flat and smooth, the carts can go around 35 mph down the straight and come into turn 1 (track 2)pretty hot and close to the wall and it looked like a blast. The carts are all brandy new 2005's with a .5 over the F1 carts
Well check it out for yourself, seems like a much cheaper alternative.

Rates are similar. We paid $20 for a 20 lap race, not sure but I think a license is $25. Plus the F1 tracks have elevation changes. You coming or wOOt Ed?

The prices are comparable to F1 on Sundays.
The hills and elevation changes is what makes F1 so much fun

I could be up for checking out the new place sometime though

They're not affiliated with F1 as far as i know. There are 2 F1 facilities, ones a outdoor track in Bridgewater and the other is the indoor track in Braintree
