For years at the end of Lansdown St (across from Tequila Rain) has been a popular bike posing spot on Friday and Saturday nights around 2am in the spring and summer.
Are the bikers that usually show up there part of a certain club/gang or is it for anyone with a bike to show up and pose? Seems like they all know each other and all the bikes are "pimped" out.
I'm not really into the whole "posing" thing but I think it would be fun once in a while to go down there and watch all the drunk people walk by that are coming out of the clubs/bars.
Lots of people go there, some in groups and some individuals, most of them are squids and can't ride.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Yea most of the guys I saw there had the typical Squid look and attitude.Originally posted by hessogood

Other then Lansdown are there any other popular posing spots in or around Boston?
On nice days I see:
-group of cbr riders parked on Newbury St.
-people rolling in groups of 2-4 up and down comm ave
-Storrow drive groups of 2-4
-paradise rock club (pending a specific concert)
-bike night @ hardrock cafe
-dorchester/roxbury area
-groups park on the corner near copley square
-some park on boylston
-and finally there are 1-2 bikes parked between cars at many of the popular nightclubs and bars in the backbay, theater district, and fanueil hall areas
I'm all for posing on occassion... especially late a night.
The "packs" that I've seen in town are either on Landsowne or Newbury Street... in the summer I've seen them congregate on the corner of Newbury and Hereford. Across from Sonsie.

Screw it man, I won't have a bike in my possession for very long.
Do you want to go Thursday or Saturday night for a little while?
Plus on Friday, the Bleedin Bleed-Ins are playing at Bill's Bar, but I'll be on-call![]()
I'd do a Sat night pose there. It would be interesting, but I wouldnt want to go by myself. I need some non-squids with me.Originally posted by Bhavesh

Buy a thermos... preferably a silver metallic one.
Get a NOS sticker.
Duct tape the thermos to your subframe and slap on the NOS sticker.
You'll be good to go.

I'll be heading to the salon on Newbury Street Saturday evening. I'll probably take the cage in, as my legs get pretty sore after getting them waxed. But I'll be in the area if you wanna holla.
Support the Troops! (Except for Mondo, that guy's a dick)

Oh dude I (used) LOVE posing on Lansdowne Street. I lived *in* Boston for 7 years so.. it was like a 1 minute ride over to Lansdowne at night. Plus checking out all the drunk club girls is always fun.
Anyhow it's groups that show up, solo riders, 'gangs', whatever. It's all good. But yea... MAJOR squid factor +9 in effect. That's sorta what made it so fun for me.. they had NFI what to make of my shit. Roll up on a Superhawk (wtf is that? that's not a legit poser bike) with no 'visual' mods, man I was a lamer! However rounded up a few dudes for a 'fun' ride down Storrow always changed the tune.
Good shit good shit.
Boston --> San Diego
I can't do that shit. On the weekends if I'm out in Boston I'm drinking, and none of that while on the bike.
My buddy with the Harley, the only f'n place he rides is through Boston, usually at night. I've tagged along with him, and one can only cruise up and down Boylston/Newbury St. so much. Booooring.
