I posted and led a ride from "The Other Side" (SRNE) today. Boy, did we have fun. I mapped out a route that did all my favorite roads in my area. Now originally, I was expecting maybe 5 bikes to show up. 6 including Snaggle, my "tail gunner" Hehehe. So I was VERY surprised to see 11 bikes come rolling into the lot!! (a 1/2hr late.) "Holy Shit"! Thinking that I am in WAAAY over my head. My first BIG group ride, I'm leading, and it's a monster!! Geez! After I settled down, telling myself to "Ride your own ride" I was fine. We lost a few along the way. But those who kept with me told me they had a good time. They all seemed to really like some of my "Super Secret Roads". So, now Snaggle and I can get to work setting up a ride for US!! "The NESR's do the Monadnock region" or something like that. I think I'll be a little more comfy leading you guys and gals(hopefully). Stayed tuned!!
