W. Ma ride Sat. 3/20/10

Hey, let's celebrate the first day of spring by ripping up Rt. 116.

Okay, maybe not "rip-up" due to some sand on the roads, but it's supposed to be 60's out and I'm itching to get the R1 out, so anybody want to join me is welcome.

Meeting at The Cumberland Farms/Gulf station at 39 Belchertown Rd. in Amherst (across from the Sunocco at the corner or Rt. 9 and S. East St.)
Kick stands up at 1pm.

I know it's a little late in the day, but it'll be warm and should be a pretty casual ride (B-C pace) probably hit up some good spots in the area and work our way over towards 116.

Congratulations on the new ride. Unfortunately the wife is out of town this weekend so I can't make it, hopefully next time.

I have to hang out with my son, so I can't. But usually the wife being out would signify freedom.

I might be up for this, doing a buddys tire at around 11am or so should probably be done by 12-12:30 and maybe head out that way. Or i might just do his tire tomorrow and then maybe we can join you on sat, i will let you know. Havent done 116 yet.

You have 7 days to get inspected, and the sticker is hard to see on the plate, so you could probably get away with waiting until next week if you want to come.

Thanks for the invite but the wife wants to go on a ride with just me and not as a group. This will be he first time out with the monster. Im sure we will ride together as a group soon.

Not a problem. So I'm definitely going riding on Saturday (I hear 72° now) and I should have at least one friend going on his Ninja 250, but the more the merrier. Nobody here has commited, though, so if anyone thinks they can go, let me know.

the good parts are the western end, not the amherst side, its kinda funny how different they are

Hey, sorry to hear you guys can't make it on such a beautiful day, but I'm still going with my friend, so I'll plan on stopping by the meeting spot for 1pm still.

North! Look it up on Google Maps or wherver. Find your way to rt2 west.

Had a great time today. Dan and Jamie, it was good to see you guys again. Ray, real nice to meet you. I'm glad you guys were able to make it.

Couldn't ask for a nicer day and to not have one single car the whole way down 116 is amazing. Anyways, see you guys again.
