If it were later in the season I'd agree, only cuz I'd wanna go fast but with all the sand and a winter of sitting on my ass I don't intend on haulin anyway. So I'd rather have a big group.

I'm guessing somewhere in the March 23rd - 26th range we'll start seeing them drop off. I'm predicting 4-6 "I'm going to be getting hammered the night before and will be in no condition to ride so I'm out" posts, 3-4 "my biked is fucked up and won't be ready in time for this ride" posts, a handful of "shit, now I have to work that day" posts, and a fair number of "they're forecasting light rain", "it is going to be too windy", "the frost heaves are still pretty bad", or "too much sand still on the road, so I'm out" posts ....... This will end up being 10 riders for sure.

The rain yesterday help out the roads a lot up by me. Don't know about down there. I think it'll be nice to have a big gr togeather. Meet everyone and what not.

Everyone is an individual, so they themselves should know the risks involved. As for me, Ive led much larger groups at much longer distances, (accident free!). okay? Ive said my peace

Why do people always start wising up when people don't wanna go jeez. No one is critizing, some people dont like being held up by slower riders or having to worry about people keeping up with them. I personally have a problem with groups more then 4 cuz i cant go the pace i wanna go hence why i dont do huge group rides. You dont need to get sand in ur vagina man jeez relax lol

Thats the whole point in the ride, to meet fellow NESRIENS. Not to have a set pace, race, or any of the sort. Just to ride and have fun, go eat some food together and crap like that. Some people are using this ride to meet new people and fellow riders. Some people dont know many people who ride and probably want to meet people with similar motorcycle interests. I apologize to anyone if they are burdened by other riders. But like myself, I just wanna meet new people. Who know what may come of this. Some people may meet their next good friend ya know?

Ha I just thought about this but its going to be funny when we roll up for food and 40 of us walk in... but as many others have pointed out I would not be surprised if 40 turns to 50+ before the ride and the day of the ride we turn it into 10 or 20. few more weeks!
