Riding sunday 4-1??

Anyone up for some riding today?? I am in southern VT but will ride anywhere around here. Of course I prefer the lovely roads of VT

I was thinking a ride over Hogback then up 100 into some sort of loop. I am up for suggestions here. Maybe leave around noon once the temps come up a bit. Pretty sano pace too as my bike has 130 miles on it.

I'm riding today but I'm in RI so needless to say VT is a bit to far at least this time of the year. If anyone in my area wants to ride let me know. I can ride anywhere between CT and MA.

it's a maintainance day here but we might take them out for a spin in a couple hours. not for long, with the rain coming. if anyone in the area wants to join up it might get our asses really on the bikes.

Well I went out to breakfast and ended up meeting a friend and riding from there. Did about 150 miles up into NY then over back to VT. All good stuff. The bke is killer but probably getting a bit rougher break in than it wants. It now has about 280 miles on it. Plus it got a bit salty and I scratched up the nose wiping it down.

Anyone have any advice as to how to keep a black bike looking good??

I went up to Brattleboro for a late lunch (mmmm, falafel). Saw a couple other bikes out, but not too many. Overall a nice ride and found a VERY nice road with little to no traffic (not a single other car in 10+ miles). Pretty windy, road was in decent shape. Went from Northfield MA to Warwick to Wendell. I will definitly hit it again.

I went for a afternoon ride north on 153, frost heave are subsiding, but still substantial then across kanc to Lincoln, very little water melting into road, they've improve draniage quite a bit, only a short section is rough with pavment patchs Gas in Lincoln is $3.00/gal

then I turned around and did the kanc back in the other direction,

I didn't think I went that far, but I have almost 400 miles since friday morning and I didn't ride yesterday and only work errands on friday

I'm getting to really like my V-strom and it's litre of power, gotta get my V-1 hooked up soon

Did about 50 miles in central MA ( 140 , 70 , 62 , 12 ) and found the roads very nice for early season . Little to no sand , no potholes , very little melting snow...

Let the 'games' begin...

Got me in a quick rip on the TL-R this weekend after waking 'er up. Not much at all though, just a quick tear around my lake then up to the big lake and back. Fuggin aye! I still love that thing!

Oh yeah. They aren't bad at all.

Then again, I crossed the bridge on 119, took a left, then a right and I was at my lunch stop. Did about 250 yards of serious traffic twisties in VT.

I'll wait until the days are warmer longer to head up north.

Kurt, wish I had seen this, especially since I have your #. Was tooling around a bit out in the Berkshires all day last sunday after a weekend on the bike. Shes got nearly 29,000 miles on her now. Dont worry, I'll put her to good use.
