Last Min: VT-9 ride this weekend?

I was talkin w/ a buddy of mine about goin on a fairly lengthy ride this weekend (probably tomorrow), I was thinkin leaving from concord and heading out 202/9 down to keene, then to brattleboro and taking VT9 over hogback mtn. not 100% where to go from there, but it should be fun.

probably leave from the irving at the end of I89 around 10 or 11am

Just FYI - sometimes the VT staties set up speed traps and/or patrol on Rt. 9/Hogback area. A cop traveling the other direction got us (there were also speed traps toward the bottom of the moutain on the west side).

If you do take that route, keep heading west on 9 until you hit 100 and go south.
Once into mass it turns into route 8.
In North Adams mass you hit the mohawk trail (rt 2)
You can head back east on that until 116 which will bring you back to 91 (so will staying on rte 2 but 116 is much better)
IT's a great route, we do it in the other direction a lot leaving from southern NH
