North CT or Southwestern MA Rides??

Hey everybody!

Just signed up today, wondering if anybody knows of OR would like to put together a ride starting from the northern CT or southwestern MA area??

Obviously I think this Sat is out, supposed to rain??

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Hey welcome, we are thinking of going out early Sun maybe Amherst/ mohawk trail back up that way.

i'm going out Sunday morning, out of Granby up into Mass and back down to Ct. No slabing ,just backroads. Pace will be spirited so if you have a problem with that let me know. RE last Sat ride. Not sure if the Amherst group is going yet. If not then i'm doing my usual route. PM if you're in. 7:30- 8:00 cumby's on Hartford Ave in Granby.

What's the defin. for "spirited" pace?

I will pass if safe and might be above the speed limit. I do not "cruise" at parade speed. Nothing stupid will occur, no stunting.

I like the answer and this is a very important thought!
I will let you know later this afternoon if I can have some of my "shit" done as well. I have been working 8 days straight, and after this weekend, I won't have a day off until 5/1.

Had a great ride out of Granby this morn. Three bikes ,nice pace no tickets or off's. Roads up Rt57 still pretty rough with frost heaves and such, little sand on the sides but all was good. No traffic to speak of all the way to Gr Barrington.

Looks like crap weather for this weekend, but as always that could change by tomorrow... gotta love new england!

I'm usually down for a morning ride on Sun, was stuck doing my taxes yesterday tho

FINALLY! i found the NW CT riders on this forum, im living in New Hartford this summer but normally i live in Colebrook. After I get out of school on May 12 I may be up for some riding

ecd2004 I just moved to Colebrook with my gf a couple months ago and dont know a soul down there. One of my bikes is down there and im always up for trying to get out. Mays tough form me as im working at NHMS most of the weekends, any chance you guys are up for something during the week?

hahaha are you in colebrook new hampshire? or colebrook connecticut? if its connecticut, that is very strange seeing as its such a small town and I would definately be up for riding. If your in colebrook NH, i want to eventually get to NHMS, my family has a house in warner NH, but i probably wont be able to do the track this year because the IRS had a way bigger than expected surprise for me

Yea see thats the odd part and why I was so quick to respond, its Colebrook CT lol. I see bikes ride by the house ALL the time and just assume they are just passing through since only like 1200 people actually live there
