I rode with the NTSR guys yesterday in the annual ride and had an absolutely awesome time. I can honestly say that I have never ridden so hard and Mike (from VT on BMW) and Mick ride like hell...or as Mick would put it, he "wrings the tits off the bitch".
We started out in the fuckin rain which sucked. I was with Mick and Chris (highsider) and a couple others I don't really know from the NTSR site and they rip like hell. We went out and strayed from the planned route cause of rainand pretty much did the same ride we did last year. After lunch in Newport VT we had a partly cloudy afternoon with periods of sun and about 64 degrees. Nice way to dry out. That and averaging about 80 mph.
The wannabe was there.......
no riding caus eof his hand though.
Jane and Ed were too - no pic of Ed though
We had to stop on VT 114 (I think) cause of this fat bitch on the side of the road

I want to thank Mick and Ken again for letting me join in and Mick for dealing with me slowing them down a bit. I had the best day of riding I have ever had.![]()

Oh yes, and sorry for holding up the "fast" group as well. For a bunch of old fuckers on Triumphs, you guys are insane.![]()
Even though I didn't enjoy the riding aspect of this trip, I still had a blast hanging out with and drinking with everyone! During the day Saturday I went to the mall to check out the local tallent and get this.... Shop.. I dont go to shop but there was nothing else to do. I bought some cool as shit shirts for the Jimmy Buffet concert on Wednesday, bought the new Audioslave and System of a Down Cd'splus two t-shirts. The pic above you can see one of them. Can you read it? It says I'd like to hide my nuts in your mouth! I had to get it...

Great photos lads.
Sorry you could not be riding Mike, hope the hand is doing better today and you get some good news on it.
Assume you realize nobody is buying this "welding accident" excuse for what seems to be a perfectly rational wanking injury. Try to keep it down to twice a day in the future though eh?
Christ Peter's 10 looks stupidly green even next to me Tiger.
Nice pictures! I think the silver Daytona is probably the best, though!
Yes, the weather kind of sucked, but there was a lot of this going on later:

Will - the Tiger is a superb bike. It is a touring bike, naked bike, and urban assault vehicle in one package.
Probably like the Z-Rex in many ways, with a willing rider it will shame literbikes on tight roads. In our group I hung back in a few places on Saturday, but none because of the bike, all because of my own judgement and risk acceptance on the day.
I don't need to tell you this stuff if you rode with Mick on Saturday of course.
Still the Daytona has more straight line go, and makes a fucking great noise while it is doing it. It's easier to ride fast and lets you be lazy about it. And it has superb anchors.
So, it is my other favorite. Sean is right, silver Daytonas rule, I'll take it back there next time.
Cheers mate
Adam
oh dear lord I didn't know what I was in for before we left. Some of it was...well.....silly I think best describes it. I've never pushed myself so hard before on a bike. It was a blast but there were definately some points that I wasn't even gonna think about keepin up.Originally posted by unionjackass

Goin up the one spot (Mick's favorite), him and Mike take off. Chris lets the other 3 guys pass and me and him start goin. I hit about 125-130 goin up this hill, come around the corner where you can see a couple of miles up - NO ONE could be seen. It was unreal. I never thought that I would hear someone say that they were bouncin off the rev limiter in 6th on these twisty roads in VT....I think i've seen it all...except a donkey show. I've never seen one of those and I really don't think that I am inclined even if Trackdog wants to see one....

It was a fun weekend indeed.
The weather brought a different set of challenge, but it was still mostly dry during our runs.
Nikon, you must had a blast with your group. I keep wanting to see how Mick rides, but I would of drop out for sure. A very competent group to say the least.
