Both, I have ridden down twice, and trailered once, the first time down, I took skyline drive/blue ridge parkway, 3 days of riding to get down, rode back thru TN, VA, KY, WV, OH, PA. 12 days total trip.

Second year, everybody trailered or trucked down 5 days total, but same amount of riding in gap area.

Last year, I rode again, while everybody else trucked, I left a week earlier, did SS1000 the first day down to Columbia, SC then the next morning finished a BB1500 in Port St Lucie, FL stayed ther a couple days then rode north to 2 Wheels Only Resort in Suches GA stayed ther a couple days riding northern GA (my personal favorite area) then ride north to meet the rest of the group at the "house" three days there, then I rode back home in 2 days via highway.

What/where is "Mytle bike week"

Myrtle beach bike week is in SC may9-18, thought it is in NC. none sport event like Laconia I guess.

I've got a bunch of Deals pics also for ya squid or did I give you a copy of them already? Sorry we can't make it this year (saving for "other" plans) but perhaps next years trip? We can take my rig down again....with in flight movies

Mike, that'll NEVER happen. She is NOT going to let me go down there ever again. There is a chance that she will go there with me and let me ride the dragon while she is at least in the area though, maybe 2004.
