Ride VT Rt.17 tonight (8/15)?

Hey, I was thinking of heading up to the App. Gap after work today, around 6 ish. Anyone interested in meeting up there? I checked the radar and so far it is clear.

Can't get away from work in time to make it down there by 6. Or even 7, probably.

Also, pay attention down there -- I've heard rumors that the cops have started to patrol more. I'd recommend making a pass at legal speeds first to make sure the Gap is clear of both gravel/sand and pork. Of course, on a Wednesday night you'll probably be fine... and I saw no cops when I was there on Sunday.

I'd love to go, however, I'm stuck in Burlington for the time being, while my bike is all alone up in South Hero, don't think I'd be able to get it in time to make it down to the gap
