Thursday bike night at Thayer St 5-27

Thursday is the only sunny day this week. So looks like the weather may cooperate. I suggest moving the time to 7pm, since that's when the majority of the people actually showed up.

I can't do Thayer afterwards 'cuz I have to be at work at 7am the next day (leaving early for the weekend). But I can definitely do a Hooters run.

lol it really isn't anything specaial at all lol. It is just a street in the heart of Brown Univ. and RISD(providence) where people hang out . Just a good place to stand next to your bike. As the warmer weather comes there is more *scenery*. kinda fun when there isn't anything else to do...lol

Umm we all work pretty early in the am, and newport via 195e/24s is only a heartbeat away, like 45 mins or soo... I made it from Newport to warwick(mardi gras) in 13 and a half mins

Newport via 195/24 is about 40 minutes from Providence. Can't speed on the island 'cuz cops are everywhere, and my exhaust isn't exactly stealthy (hello d&d). We'll see... if it's not cold out like it is right now, I'm down.

It's a damn shame that I had to ride to work with the heat on today.

I may or may not make Hooters, depends if i get all my shit ready for the long weekend. I will be at Thayer tho for sure, what time everyone gonna be there at? Looks to be the nicest day of the week as well, anyone riding during the day? I'm on a short vacation for the rest of the week

Hopefully I can get out of bed early so I can get out of work early tomorrow. I'll hopefully be at hooters no later than 6:30, might be able to get there by 5:30 but that's pushing it. i'm down for thayer st. as well.

I'm down for meeting at hooters........Be carefull, cops on thayer are crackin g down BIG TIME!!! on bikes....be prepared to have your info ran by the popo...I have been hassled twice in one week....


Me and my friends were parked in front of the theater.....with my rear tire just on the line of a no parking zone... A cop came, and asked me for my papers....He then gave us two options.

1. leave and NEVER come back to thayer with our bikes

2. get a ticket, and my bike towed(for the parking thing)....

My buddy called his bluff, and said to write the ticket...he told us to leave... Obviously, he cant make us never come to thayer again, but they sure can hassle us every time we go...

so keep that in mind

Call me a saddest, but I'm waiting to get hassled.... Boy oh boy do I have a mouth on me . Oh so you're gonna tow my bike huh? Tha't funny cause unless you're gonna arrest me for a simple parking violation then I really doubt it. So you still wanna give me shit, well I'll be down the station tommorrow filing a complaint.

Don't think I'm gonna make it tonite. I'm leaving early tomorrow for Philly, which means I'll most likely stay later today to finish up some stuff. Then I gotta pack.

Hopefully I can get everything done today cuz I haven't been on the bike since last weekend.

There are roads around... you just have to know where to go. Like I said last week, you'll most likely have to ride to Connecticut or Mass close to the mountains to find the fun roads.
