Yeah, yeah. I know THIS season isn't exactly over yet, blah, blah. But I've already begun to start thinking of some rides for next year...
One thing I'd like to do is tour NH's historical markers and get a photo of my bike next to each one. NH has almost 200 of these "markers" which indicate something of significance that happened at those sites. I obviously don't plan to do these all in one weekend as they're quite spread out and some are hard to find. But I think it'd be a really cool summertime "project"...
Thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
There's a website that has a listing of all of them and it gives a brief description. You can sort 'em by county & region. I don't have the URL with me, but I'll post it here when I find it. I think there may be a listing on the state maps you can get at the NH State Rest Areas too...

I'm sure it's be at least a couple trips, more likely several, prolly take the whole season and there's likely some that you can't ride to (unless you have a Rokon)

Aren't they still making Rokons? Up here in NH, I believe too!!!
This little project of mine would take a better part of the summer to complete. These things are scattered about all over the state. But they ARE all fairly easily accessed. No need for any off-roading. They were initiated with the traveller in mind...

I was thinkin I'd seen the markers before when hiking , maybe not, maybe in Vermont, it's been a long time since I've done any hiking.
As far as I know, thier still making Rokon's , in Portsmouth, NH they have 5hp Honda engine in them now instead of B&S, 500 mile range if you fill the wheels with fuel

Here's where you can find the complete listing of all 158 markers. The site breaks 'em down by regions...
