Alright I am going to suggest a few dates as it seems like people are down for a "Here's Johnny" experience in Kennebunk. Are weekends better? We could do Sunday, January 15 (I am suggesting that selfishly as I have Monday off). The last weekend is completely open for me. What do people think?

I'm thinking we need some time to get some track video together. But we're gaining. I just finished the testing on running my edited GoPro 1080p MP4s on my Galaxy S2 smart phone and out to the 52 inch HDTV. HA! It works!
So now I have to get some video from TDiloren and Harley copied over to some 32 Gig SDcards. However Tim may not be able to publish his edited video to MP4. If not, I will have to convert them to MP4 on my computer.
The local pizza shop is open on the weekends this winter, so that's on the menu.

I'm feeling that the hotel is too far from everyone, so I'm thinking Thatchers is the place to go! (It is near the Maine Mall.) We met there last year, and I liked it.
I gave them a call to see what's up. I can bring my video gear and plug into any of their HDTVs. They also have 5 new BIG screen projection HDTVs that seem to be quite the hit. It is recommended that we reserve one if we want to do this on Friday or Saturday. (Otherwise, they have another couple of dozen HDTVs: they have more HDTVs than Best Buy!.)
The featured video will be the Blu-ray version of "Closer to the Edge" (Isle of Mann 2011) (4 hours). Of course I will bring my Blu-ray player and USB HDD with all my GoPro track video, just in case. ;^)

Friday is locked in. We next need to nail the place. Mike has a 52" HDTV. If there are going to be just a few of us, we can do that. On the other hand, if we want to show off, or if there are going to be a whole bunch of us (which would be good), we could do Thatchers and show off our stuff!

In any case, I will make a run to Thatchers tomorrow to hook up with the IT girl to scope out their equipment (for future reference, if nothing else). We do have some fellow Southern Mainers who want to try the track day thing this year. I would like to see them join us. I have a short video of the 1st sesssion of the TTD Oct event which I think is very instructive with regard to what to expect.... and what NOT to do!!!!
