Nice TD... Looks like I'm flying again today so most likely no riding for me until the Tuesday night ride.

Yo guys lets push the ride to Wednesday cos tomorrow is suppose to be a T-Storm all afternoon and evening. morning is ok but i think we should push it to wednesday to have more ppl and better roads.

Monday doesn't work for me. Tuesday next week works if the weather ends up bad tomorrow. Right now tomorrow is looking crappy, but I'll take a closer look around noon.

I looked at the forecast and the evening is calling for a 30% chance of showers. I am willing to risk that. Harley....since you are leading the ride, do you want to make the call? I can chime in as well.

In general Tuesdays are good for me, just not next Tuesday. So if we settle on that date, count me in after then.

The Wx forecast for this evening isn't looking great, but like you said it might be worth the risk.


4pm - T-storms 80% chance of precip
5pm - T-storms 70%
6pm - T-storms 60%
7pm - few showers 30%
8pm - few showers 30%
9pm - few showers 30%
then partly cloudy 20%


It does seems better a little later into the evening so a delay might also be an option, depending on how the radar looks later in the afternoon.

The problem for me is that I have a sortie to fly this afternoon, and the weather may affect my ability to be there on schedule. Unless I cancel my flight altogether, I won't be able to check in here until after I land.

I've discussed the ride with tdiloren. He had agreed to come up with the route, so I'll officially pass this "leader" thing over to him.

If the ride is on still on when I'm back from my flight, I'll show up one way or another (either at Hannaford) or at the destination, depending on timing.

I think the forecast is improving. My flight cancelled, so I'm still in. I think it'll be more of a case that there might be a thunderstorm to dodge but other than that it'll be ok.

The weather was great! The sun came out, dried the roads up a bit. The roads were damp under the trees in the backwoods, but it was still a great ride!

I rode today, and I think I was the only one around that did!

I am planning a charity ride in August (more info to follow), and I was supposed to ride the route yesterday. I opted to cage it because of the unstable weather. Of course I did not see a drop at all until way after I got home

MIK is a good idea for rainy day! Even though the place is 5 minutes down the road I never think to head over there. The only time I ever think of it is when friends come down to visit and they bring it up.
