Quick Ride Report...

Had a BLAST yesterday! Only ended up with a bit over 100 miles. But man! I needed that! Brian (bentbryan), Sean (he's here somewhere) & Justin (healdman) stopped by to pick us up. Low & behold, just as we're pulling out Steve (mrbreeze) pulls in rarin' to go...

Just kinda planned on heading north and riding up around the Big Lake. Ended up meeting some dude while we were out, and he suggested some nice routes. Turns out the dude live basically across the lake from me...

Ended up taking a spirited romp north as planned, and turned out having a nice 1st time back in the saddle. It was cool to REMEMBER meeting Sean & Justin (sick stand ups!), and seeing Steve again (hadn't seen him in TWO years!)...

This was the first time since the end of '02 that Cheryl's been on my bike. And I gotta tell ya, it was the nutz riding with her again. I sincerely missed that, A LOT. I've decided that there's no doubt that she'll be with me on most of the street rides I do this year. SIDE NOTE: Our very first date almost ten years ago was on my bike...

covered a coupla hundred miles on Sat-- much of it in Nude Hampster w/ stoinky / honclfibr / et al, then wandered on up the coast yestiddy AM w/ Pratiti on the back to do breakfast in Rockport. only about another fiddy miles... but a nice two-up break in to the season...

rode 175, 112, 118, 132, 113. Still too bumpy!!

A little sandy too.

Anyway emptied out my tank and refilled. It needed it. After sitting since mid October, all it wanted to do is ping here and there.

Had to change my battery out too. Oh well. 3 years. It was dead last fall.
