Update: According to Grush, Paasch was fined $100 for not using the correct procedure at the Turn Two escape road and $100 for inappropriate/dangerous riding and Narbonne was fined $100 for inappropriate/dangerous riding and $500 for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Questions: what is turn 2 escape road? Isn’t 2 where you get back on the oval after 1 and 1A?
And isn’t someone getting a tow a common practice?

Yea. Shitshow is the word. My little joy was helping one of the podium finishers dads put his bike together after midnight last night. Great family.

I was bummed that I wasn't able to be there originally, but now I'm just bummed that this was the end result. I'm sure there was a ton of time that many people put in to make this happen. I feel for them.

You should have come up just for all the reunions going on. I saw SO. MANY. RACING FRIENDS. We almost could have reformed Turn 1A again.

Just quit my job so it was a last minute decision to go visit my dad in Florida for Father's Day between jobs. Otherwise I definitely would have been there!

I didn't see the race, just the last 3 restarts, but seemed like an awful long time in the pit...patching up bikes... going back out.

As soon as the incident was clear, which seemed to be fairly quickly since it was people lying in the line, they should have sent them back out.

After the 3rd red flag, you make an announcement that people will not be allowed to race if they cause a red flag instead of getting sent to the back of the pack.

Since they shortened the race by five laps because of the rain, would it make sense to then to cut the grid size down as well?

B Paasch decided to get a tow on the last couple of laps of qualifying from Narbone, and tagged on by taking the oval instead of the normal T1/T2 complex, thus his $100 fine. Narbone got pissed, slowed to nearly a stop out of T10 waiting for Paasch, ($100 fine) and then kicked his bike ($500 fine).
