Random Rhode Island rides for 2013 thread

Seems like this thread did well last year for meeting up, lets do it again!

I'm around most weekends and afternoons/evenings.

I'm here! I work in bristol so i can shoot through newport and down south pretty quick if anyone wants to go for a ride there or we can go up and through rehoboth and such there are some nice roads there. I live in lincoln so anything north is easy for me, post up a ride ill be there!

Im always up for a ride if anyone wants to get something started. I live in Cranston so I can meet up just about anywhere. Work nights on a rotating shift so my days are always free and most nights.

can ride most evenings and pretty much every weekend, plus I also take a lot of 1/2 days off work during the week to ride.

I'm in Lime Rock.

The only "rhodes" I've done in RI are 12 and 14 around the reservoir, which completely suck when you get stuck behind Miss Daisy going to the bingo hall. And, that seems to be all the time. I just got back from the Adirondacks/Lake George area, and it's hard to not want to go back!

I dunno how well you know Rehobeth but that's were I've been doing a decent amount of riding and can show some roads out there. Otherwise, I figure western RI has got to be better than Rehobeth. It's still pretty flat, and you're kind of stuck to the town, because the surrounding towns aren't too interesting.

not very well, honestly but i take 118 home some times and have found a few good roads on my way up, youre right, western RI does have more good roads but there is passable stuff at least there.

I am. Actually taking a long ride tomorrow. Leaving Bridgewater about lunch time and going up to Rob's Dyno in Gardner, MA. I'm doing a cam swap on my S3 and I need to get a baseline beforehand. If anyone wants to ride along and hang out at the dyno shop while I make a few pulls then back, come on. I was planning on plotting a back road route there and back since there are some pretty decent twisties through Central MA.

I have been wondering the same thing since I moved here last year.

there are a few good roads in the state, but the police presence in RI makes it worth while to head out to CT.

I got in about 350 miles this past weekend (with ZERO slab) cruising around the back roads of eastern CT. DAM "loose stone" signs really screwed up a few of my favorite roads though

I'm always riding and have a pretty flexible schedule, may be heading out later this afternoon/evening

I see. I know there are some awesome roads over by scituate resivior but that'd about it. I'd deff b down to meet up

My biggest problem is always that i forget what roads are good when im out there, but if I finish the stuff i have to do around the house today I'll PM you and I'll ride down.

My biggest problem is I have no fucking clue where I'm going in Rhode Island. We got a little turned around and I ended up taking 295 to save time.
