I would like to meet up, but only if your heading south. Wet roads are no fun.
I'm in. ahh, is anyone else?
Can anyone give an update on road conditions in southern NH or Western MA.

In W.Mass. @ Rt112/20 area, the roads aren't bad, aside from some sand on the lesser traveled roads at higher elevations which were treated recently. Not much in the way of snowmelt going, so the roads are dry.

Well, looks like I'm gonna be riding locally tomorrow. Not a big fan of salty and sandy roads. At least here around Boston they are pretty clean.![]()

I am going to try to make the meet in NH at the citgo for 9am leave time.
If I don't make it there perhps I'll catch the group in route to western ma.
So if I am not there on the blue V strom by 9am, don't wait for me.
either way, I'll make the meet in G.barrington.

Cool to see so many bikes make it out today. That was some cold-ass riding, with the sun hiding most of the time. The Gerbing jacket liner was toasty enough but my fingers grew painfully cold. Not much sand/salt at all though, considering the recent spate of inclimate wx. Rt.20/23 in MA were surprisingly clean.
Paige was nice enough to let me borrow one of her street bikes today, her new 650R. Nifty bike. Revs eagerly w/o any annoying vibration. Kawi put some work into making it produce a bit of a growl, too. Dammit. I need a street bike.

Definately a chilly windy day for sure. I had a good time on my route from ringe NH to G Barrington. A few sandy spots , frost heaves and tar snakes to deal with , but this is april in New England after all. Rt 116 was clear , only a couple wet spots, and the majority of 112 was nice, except for the section from rt 9 up over the hill and by the farms, but thats even sandy in the summer time.
Apparantly some of the 10 people that followed me didn't like the route I picked out at the very last minute. Being that I was not planning to be a leader today and I was asked to lead a group 5 minutes before we left for the ride, and I had absolutely no idea how long the route would take , I thought I did pretty good. We made it to G barrington for 1:30 ish and there were still bikes in the parking lot when we pulled in.
So for anyone that followed me would like there money back from todays ride, just post up your address, and I will even refund you double your money back, which comes out to be $00.00 I can send check or money order.
Hope everyone made it home safely

I thought the route was good - fucking sandy - but good. Thanks for leading (I'm being serious).
Also, why did you choose such a cold route?
I wish i could have gone out with you guys today. I rode into work today and did some ridin afterwards. Not too cold out. Saw a kid on the highway with no helmet, sneakers and NO socks. Didn't think idiots were out yet.
Bunch of pictures posted up over at STN.

You guys made it just in time.....
It's snowing here again today![]()
Ugh still raining here
Sorry I missed this ride...
My flight home from Vegas didn't put me in Manch. until around 11:00 pm Friday night, and it was after Midnight before I reached my place...
Not trying to sound like alet's just say it was a rough week in Vegas and I needed to catch up on some shut-eye...
And now, here it is Sunday and it's freakin' snowing...![]()
I never heard any bitching about the ride route? A few comments about some of the sand and such, but if anyone expects to see otherwise during the month of April around here they need to move back from where ever they came from.
As I said over at STN, I thought the pace, route, and company were just fine.
