Hey everyone, this sounds like it may be the last year for this, so we'd like to make it the best one yet. Craig had a lot of great friends that get together every year to celebrate his life and raise some money. If anyone is interested, we normally have a couple of meeting points along the way.
Came across some pics from last year's ride. Definitely a good time.
Sorry I missed last years.
I grew up through school 4 grade until 12th with Craig. He was a great person. He is missed.
Please help out with anything you can for a very good benifit.
Thanks,
Mike

RIP A.B. RIP BEET, I Ride in Leathers because I would rather sweat than Bleed...
Shameless bump...
I think we are planning on meeting in Stoneham currently, but if Boston area people are interested, I could set up another meeting point at the Dew.
This may be a silly question...but what exactly is a poker run?![]()
When you do a poker run, you stop at different spots during the ride and are given one playing card each time. At the end of the ride, the one with the best hand wins! Kitt did one a few years back, it was fun. The only one I've been on, I believe it was for firefighters or cops...can't remember.

Yeah, what she said. This one pays out for the best hand, second best hand and worst hand, so you have a couple chances. From the sound of it, we should have a really good turnout again this year, but as always, the more the merrier. Good group of people, mosy sportbikes, but some cruisers as well. I think I'm taking my VStar this year cuz my CBR seems to be on the fritz as of last night, and i'm not sure if i'll have time to diagnose the problem before the weekend.
How long is the ride itself? (chomping at the bit to get my miles in this weekend, lol) Coming from Boston..where would I meet you all if I was to go?
We are going to be meeting at the House of Blues on Lansdowne Street around 9 am, hanging out there for a few before we head out. Then we're going to Northborough for the ride, which starts at noon, and then back to the starting point by 5 or so for a party after. Food, drinks, raffles....all that fun stuff.
Oh cool....that's right down the street from me
Count me in!
Sounds good. i'll pm you my number in case you need any more info.
Not 100% sure I'll make it tomorrow... If I'm not there by 9 am, don't wait![]()
Are you guys taking a scenic route to Northborough?
What is there to do on Landsdown St. on a Sunday morning? lol...
I'm not entirely sure how we are getting from boston to northborough. I know the ride was pretty decent once we started last year. Lansdowne is just a convenient meeting point, as a lot of the people we're meeting up with are bouncers/managers/bartenders that worked with Craig on Lansdowne over the years. We're just using that as a rally point, then heading to the start of the ride.
ya...that was us doing the MS bike ride from Hopedale, tis was about 150 bikers but only about 10 where sportbikes.....i would like to join you guys sometime for a ride....i live in Central, MA (Grafton)....i've ridden a couple of times with the southern NH CBR forum guys....but i would prefer local as they meetup in Manchester, NH and that itself is a ride for me.......we rode 400 miles two weeks ago up the Kanc.....good bunch....just too far
