anyone ride the kancamagus highway in NH between Loon and Attitash??? ive gone that route during the winter months but never during the riding season. its definitly got potential for some sweet road.

done it once on a "slowish but still kinda zippy" ride...

hey T....I was on the dirt ride..... so were a few others.... just cleaned the shit off my exhaust this spring!

Anyway..... I ride it a lot given that I live just around the corner a bit.....

Yes can be bumpy... but also a sweet ride.... I recommend doing it during the non holiday periods and would not recommend Sat or Sun unless your on a slow leisurely jaunt.

Too many campers.... rv's and grandmas and grandpas on it. We could recommend some other roads during a group ride, which I am sure we will have later this year that are very close by to the Kank.

Yes, there is usually a ton of traffic and some cops on the Kancamagus highway, avoid during the summer months!!

It is a good reason to keep those old heavy UJM's around. My old 750 was a BLAST on that road. The suspension smoothed everything out and made for a really nice run through Bear's Notch.

Those roads are far superior to the Kanc due to lighter traffic and less speed enforcement.

You can take 107 (fun) to 132 (fun) by way of 140 (not so much fun) to get to 175 in Ashland which beats the hell out of cruising up 93 (yuck)

oh..I forgot to mention 93......it was great in 76 when I had a 440 moto -ski....lol...thats when I was in my snow phaze.
