So who's riding where this weekend?????

So, the weather is supposed to be beautiful for riding this weekend and I want to get out there and throw some miles on the bike. I mean I only hit the 50,000 mark this weekend and RandyO is making me feel like I don't ride anymore.

Who is riding where and when????? I can meet up where ever and when ever anyone wants to.

Possibly an early meet at Motomarket and a ride out west then up through southern VT.

Maybe slab it up and meet up with Highsider and ride around Northern VT.

If any one knows a good southern route around the postage stamp (R.I) and Connecticut, I've never ridden down there.

Worse comes to worse, get together someplace and head down to the Vanson openhouse.

Joel, I'll be up for a ride friday night or saturday morning, I've got somethign going on saturday night though so i have to be back sometime late afternoon/early evening. Heading south isnt' a bad idea. You can never go wrong with seacoast roads.

Wow all these views and nobody wants to go for a ride this weekend except for Jay!!!!!

Come on, someone pick a place they want to ride to and we will set up the meeting point and time and go from there.

My problem is I am willing to ride just about anyplace, I'm just looking for a group of people to ride with. I don't mind leading, I don't mind riding sweep, I just want to ride with people. Riding alone kinda sucks and I have had to do way too much of that recently.

I'm kinda thinking Pachaug Forest in Ct, got knobbies and a street plate? I hear there's 60 miles of errrrrrr.."roads" to check out there

Hmmmmm no knobbies, but I seem to remember that you have two of them there dirty type bikes, a blue one and an orange one....................now if only I actually knew from some place other than this message board and you thought enough of me to offer to let me use one of those toys. Then I would be all set to join you on this adventure into the woods. However, seeing as that isn't the case, and the only time I have met you was at Dave and Busters when we all went, I guess I will wish you a good time on your ride in the woods and continue to try to figure out a plan for the weekend.

3 reasons I can't/won't lend the blue bike out to you or anyone else for that matter this weekend.

1... I still have one race weekend left on it and don't feel like converting it over for someone else to ride

2... It's not street legal or registered for the street (you need that to ride Pachaug)

3... Dirt toys are not the smartest things to let people borrow. It doesn't take much to have a rather large repair bill by the end of a riding day if someone were to fall once or twice

If I can't find anyone to ride Pachaug with this weekend, I could be into a Bean run though?

Mark, I wasn't really asking you to let me ride one of your bikes. That is the problem with they typed word my overly thick amount of sarcasm can't shine through very well. Even if you had offered I would have declined simply because of the reason you stated in number three. If I am going to be buying a new dirty toy I want to buy it for myself not to replace somebody else's bike that I broke.

Maybe we can get a Bean run going and that would suffice my need to ride with people.......

I'm doing some miles on Sunday, for any of you who want to join me. I'm either going to ride to the track and watch a friend get his ass whupped in an SCCA race, or doing a little tour of the norther Adirondacks.

Edit: And Jake, leave that poor bike alone. It doesn't need any more mods, you can't make it into an R1.
