Saturday 8/5 5:30 am.. ride to hawks nest

Riding down to PA to the Hawks Nest (rt. 97 area) ... leaving e. windsor CT at 5:30 am saturday. Anyone interested? Going to be a nice cruise down and whoever wants to can pick it up in the corners, just wait up for the rest. Lemme know!

I dunno, after reading all the threads on ODFU, where people are constantly telling you to slow the fuck down before you kill yourself. Online riders and close friends alike.

Other than that, I have no idea where I came up with this 'notion'.

it is going to be a slower paced ride... probably have a couple newbies along and dont want them to get a bad impression. Chill in the straights, pick it up in the corners if you want to. You'll have fun if you come out. if not.. well don't criticize. dont knock it till you tried it.

I think you guys should do some mroe reading on the board to see how shits changed recently... we had a couple newer riders last week and they had a blast and they said the pace was fine for them... geez. Quit being hypocrites. How the hell are you gonna know what an "odfu" ride is if all you do is knock it and think you are a fucking god on NESR never to ride with an ODFU'er?

we have are own outcast here (richw) who takes alot of shit for things he aledgedly did in the past. i've never ridden with him ether but i would give him a chance if the opertunity arose.

i will say this. most the guys i've rode with on this site have there shit wired tight and if enough of them believe strongly someone's a problem i believe them.

I PM'ed him on ODFU. If hes gone back on his riding style, thats great. I'll give him a try at some point this year. I told him to try and get on some NESR rides, and get some cred with some people, so people have an idea if hes one they'd ride with again, or someone they'd just assume never see on the road ever again.

I made my comments based on perceived notions after reading about his riding on ODFU (see linked thread). If hes really toned it down, thats fine. But if not, based on what was said in the thread, you can probably see why I'd say what I did. His previous style would not be someone I'd ride with. For mine and others safety/fun.
