What time would I meet you in Manch? I am working the overnight tonight, suppose to get out at 8... However, I figure I can leave early around 6/630 which puts me in Manch around 7... Where would I meet you? Granted, if there are a lot of emergencies coming in, I won't be able to leave, but I am hopeful!! Can you text or call me? I will check in throughout the night...

If you ain't first......you're last!
Its off 31 on 495 if I remember right... it should take about an hour to get there, so I'd say 7ish.

Unfortunately, I had to cut my ride home short. I got a voicemail when we stopped at Dunkins that my mom had gone down in Concord. She's covered in road rash and has a giant gash on her knee, but she'll be ok and her bike is in decent shape.
The ride was awesome. Thanks so much Sheldon!

Well... she can't walk. There's some cartilage and ligament damage in her knee. She's in a straight brace. What sucks is she had a lot of issues with her right knee and has been hobbling anyway, now she smashed the left one. I think she'll be in a whieelchair for at least a few weeks.
It was a beautiful day to ride. We got rained on for about 2 mins in VT, but other than that it was gorgeous.

Great ride today, it was nice to meet everyone.
Sorry about your mom Jackie, wish her a quick recovery.
And thanks for waiting for me this morning!
Eduardo
I made it there at 9 and waited until 9:30. I guess I blew that one. Sorry Shel. I thought you said nine on the phone.
Well...we almost made it home by 2:30. Thanks to everyone for keeping the pace exciting

Pretty funny stuff ........... So I'm sittng on my bike in Groton center around 9:00am figuring you guys would be passing through about 9:15am or so. Sure enough, here comes a pack of about 8 bikes, mostly sport and a couple of GSs. So I fire up the bike and join in the back. We ride for about 15 minutes through Townsend and then bear right onto Rte 124 and then Rte 31. I just figure there was a decision to get off Rte 119 and go a different way. We go west on Rte 101 into Peterborough; and we've been riding for roughly 45 minutes when the group pulls into a gas station. As some folks are fueling up, I get off the bike and introduce myself...........and you guessed it, not one of them had ever heard of NESR!
RTFLMAO...This is funny.
However I am not surprised they have not heard of it. Maybe they are new riders or something. When I got my bike, I tried to search for a group (of course on google) of street riders and I am being honest, the NESR forum website did not come up. I was searching for terms like 'Boston Streetbikes' 'Boston Bikers' 'Boston Street Motorcycles' Maybe I was searching wrong but that was my experience. A rider at NESR told me about the forum.

Funny ,
So did you spend the rest of the day with them? What group were they from, are they going to check in here on nesr?
Big Shel Thanks for organizing this ride I wasn'r sure was going to make it due to some neck pain from dirt riding last weekend , but it was a fun day, when I split off from you guys I took 9 to 8 south to 100 to some back roads over to the good down hill twistie section of rt 2 down into charlemont then more back roads over to 116 , had a clear shot all the way through. Then more twistie back roads over to 202 and back home to the middle of no where.
managed just shy of 300 miles for the day, not a bad way to scrub in a new set of tires.
Hope everyone made it home safe and with out incodent.
