Looks like light rain all day. The Duke is ready to ride that Louden Bitch of a track.. Even in the rain it will still be fun...

Today turned out to be absolutely perfect, so perfect I am going to the Team Daemon Day tomorrow!!

I am loving this Super Duke more and more everytime I ride it. This thing was such a blast to haul ass around the track!!! By days end I was touching down in every corner. My new Knee pucks are now scuffed up!!!

I hope Thursday is nice for You guys!

Weather was wicked nice...

But I lowsided in Turn 3 after starting the morning really well.. I had been working with Heath (Thanks!) and I got off-line in 3 and ran into some dirt at full lean.

Very minimal injuries.. shockingly not bad considering I was probably doing 50-60mph?

My bike ended up hitting the tires just up the grass on the outside of the beginning of 4. I didn't even slide that far. Just plopped onto my butt, I think I stopped about 5 feet short of the tires in the gravel.)

My leathers (Teknic) didn't do so good.. zipper on the right wrist broke, causing the sleeve to slide up my arm and rash my arm a bit. And the seam running down the right leg split. Luckily there were dual layers of leather so no rash or brusing at all.

Just persuing Ron Ayers I think I'm looking at around $1300 if I want to replace all the plastics that got rashed. $1800 if I got a new gas tank. Probably $200 to ride around ugly. I couldn't ride home because my left clip on sheared in half, throttle jammed, and the rear brake pedal was trashed. Luckily there were plenty of kind people to offer trailer space.

I doubt I will be riding to any more track days... time to look for a hitch of some sort and maybe start renting a trailer.

I spent an hour putting the Duke back together so it's ready to ride Saturday on the street, repaired the directional that popped out of it's mounting joint also! Phew.... I thought it's was broken..

My tires are torn to shreds from the heat. Those Dunlop 207RR worked awesome on the track! I hate them for the street though...

My bikes in pieces now, gonna bring the suspension and wheels down to Pete and have him sort things out. Good to meet you. I'll prolly be at the next MM and Deamon days that come up.
