TEMPLETON ICE CREAM BARN AND RESTAURANTHi everyone!
RIDE TO EAT
Since I haven't posted up any Meet and Eats yet this year, I would like to invite you all out to one of my favorite little places on Wednesday, May 6th.
INFO:
Who: Me, some of my friends, and hopefully some of you and some of your friends. Bring anyone you please.
What: RTE (Ride To Eat) on a Wednesday
When: Wednesday, May 6th at 6pm(ish) or whenever you can get there
Where:
Templeton Ice Cream Barn and Restaurant
7 South Rd
Templeton, MA 01468
(978) 939-8164
It is located about a mile South of Rt 2 on Rt101 directly on the Templeton Town Common and is in a row of other old places. Currently it is painted up red, like a barn, but it used to be white. There are some nice backroads on the way there also if you don't want to take Rt2.
The food is typical pub style food. I recommend the Steak Bomb and Mint Chocolate Chip for dessert. The burgers and fries are also tasty. Hopefully the black flies won't be to bad and we can sit outside and enjoy the views of the common and do some tire kicking.
Hope you all can make it... don't worry.... If you ride fast enough, you'll make it home in time for the Celtics game.

Not deffinate but I may see you there. I was riding out that way a bit last year and had some fun. Anyone else meeting there?
Sounds good, Matt. Hope to see you there.
I haven't met up with many people from this board yet, but I thought that this might be a good way to start.

Hey Pat......I'm not a definite but will try my best to get there. I leave work around
4pm but I've got an hour drive home
Will keep you posted!
Anybody make it out there last night? I decided last minute to head that way after work. It was pretty much a straight shot on route 2 for me. I made it there at about 6:30 (major haulin' on slab), but no bikes in sight and a big "CLOSED" sign on the place. So I'm guessing whoever showed up saw the sign, and either turned around, or rode elsewhere. Or maybe you guys were hiding in the bushes, laughing at the loud 650R rolling up and down South St...
I failed this one.At least I got a good bit of riding in before the weather turned crappish.
