All of the manufacturers are there with the next model year machines for you to compare. You can sit on most bikes there. Great way to compare a few bikes you are torn between.
The aftermarket vendors are there with show specials and discounted gear. Most of that is crap stuff though. Since its only a 30 or 40 minute drive for me I always go.

I allways get there at opening

by 1 pm there can be a 1 1/2 hr wait then inside so crowded can'y do see anything

All the majors do give access to the bikes

I'll be training in from New Haven to New Jack City $25 round trip.

I think I may be going. If I do, I will drive to New Haven and take the train from there. Question:Should I get off of the train at Grand Central? If so, should I board a subway to get to the convention center? Yes, I'm sort of a 'country bumpkin' when it comes to finding my way in the big cities.

Train to Grand Central

Number 5 bus (not everyone)this may now be the number 42 as in 42st acording to latest map sorry goes to Javitts need change i think $1.50 or 2 bucks ask diver one every 10 minutes regular 5 stops 2 blocks away

If Ok weather then you can sally down 42 st

If ok weather take SUBWAY shuttle to times square and walk or take (I think) A train one stop south to 34 street walk towards river.

Walking in NYC if weather OK is as much a trip as anything, supermodels, whinos, gays, homeless and aristocrats all on parade

Parking anywhere near Javitts will be $25. You could park on the street way north say in the 60 's west side and subway down

At the javitts your right near Madison Square Garden and a few blocks to Empire State Building and times square theater district is 8 blocks north

JUst walk head down, fast while muttering to yourself and you will fit in

You Boston Guys should make a tourist day trip to NYC for the day not just MC show.

All of Boston wouldn't make a neighborhood in the big apple
