anyone riding this weekend?

I did 285 miles yesterday.

Only saw 4 bikes on the road and two were in Goffstown.

Roads were clean and it was cold but with my leathers and thermals underneath, I was comfortable.

My gloves had those chemical hot hand packs in them, those last for 10 hours. Got home, it was about 8pm.

I had a yellow/black SV and was wearing black leathers with a solid yellow Shoei helmet.

Look in the metallic colors, they call it Axis Yellow.

Same effing difference. As long as there is no black ice and no sand on the road.

Tires are cold so I don't drag footpegs, don't mean I have to push it hard and still have a good time.

From what I saw at Motomarket a couple of weeks ago, I am glad the SV only pushes out the power that it does. I don't have to worry about it slipping that rubber out from under me. I get to use everything that it pushes out.

thats the damn truth right there. I haven't ridden my duc since my fuel cap incident and when steve and i decided to go for a ride the bike made sure to tell me to ease up the throttle many times. But when i'm on the sv no matter how much i twist that throttle it rarely spins the tires. One of the many reason i don't ride the duc anymore.

Totally agree , i love that attitude you want to ride you ride. I've seen people riding in weather that i would'nt even go out in never mind ride in, and i say more power to them. Duey used to ride everyday to work on his bike in the winter and never had a problem,... it's all how you handle it mentally and physically.

i still had my OE gas cap but no key, so i couldn't use it. I finally got my new vortex replacement cap on saturday, but only got it to finally put the duc away.

Newenough does not carry helmet stock.

I bought two helmets from them and they were drop shipped directly from the eastern seaboard warehouse in Nashville. (UPS shipping labels)

From what I understand, Shoei has two big warehouses and they ship directly to the customer after the distributor calls the order in.

So far, I really like my Shoei's, I would love to get a RF1000 model to see how that fits. The Zeleven is an awesome piece of work. My only complaints about them is they are noisy and it is a bit more difficult putting eyeglasses in them when compared to Arai.
I really hated my Arai ... traded it for a pair of Dainese P103 leather pants and never looked back.

I know the girl. When I bought my Gixxer at SSMS she came into the office with me and my sales guy because she works in the accounting department there.

My friend Eric works in the parts department and gave me the 411 on her. She's going out with some crazy marine dude.

I must say though she is very hot. Everytime I go there I see her and I have to try very hard not to make it obvious that im checking her out.

Brockton cycle has some hotties working there too. There's a blonde chick that works behind the parts desk. She has an ok face but a nice body. Then there's two brunette girls that work out by the sales floor. One is really petite, one has a juciy figure 8 shaped body.

Yes I like to check out chicks!!!

I'll never forget the time we went to Hampton Beach OH MY GOD!!!! They were way too young for us except for Harrison. If I was Harrisons age when we were up there, I would have been going nuts!!!

I REMEMBER HER!!! We got stuck right behind her in the traffic Jam on the main strip. OH MAN!!!!! I think she was doing that on purpose because she knew we were behind her. YUMMM!!!

Yea Alex and I noticed that if you go up there in the evening after 9-10pm the older ladies come out. They are still trashy but at least they are legal!
