Now this started as a Ride Thread by KB, and was rudely and unjustly perverted...T Rd is a little Sanctuary for us, a Gem of a Road...those of us who ride it would very much like to keep it the way it is.
It might seem like some mystery road, or us wanting to flaunt it in peoples faces, but its not, we are just trying to protect something we love, and I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna tell some of you just so you can know where it is.
KB wanted to get some people to go for a ride, and we all messed it up.
We'll post a ride about a road only we know about whenever, if you wanna come you know how to PM, and we always make public the meeting place.

We are gonna plan one more trip over soon I would imagine, usually on a Monday or Tuesday.

Going to NYC for the weekend and would be back on Monday. Bike needs some work - Giving starting trouble. Maybe its the spark plugs. and if my speedometer arrives by then, replace that!

(I have to work on Mondays, and it's our "meeting" day, so I usually need to show up...although I could probably sneak out for a ride if it left later...hmmm)
Oh, and incidentally, I still have a heck of a time finding the damn road, and I've been there before. I looped up by the nearby state hotel and back after missing the turn before the turn (the actual intersection wasn't a problem, I recognized that...it was the intersection before that).
Oh, well, still had a couple good laps. There was some significant gravel in the corners between the old gravel pit-ish area on the site of the road and the "fallen rock" zone, some of it fairly large (fist-sized) chunks; I actually stopped on the first lap through to clear one corner, as the rest were less gravelly.
What's wrong with WEEKEND WEEKEND WEEKEND ???
I'd be in but I can't ditch a day of work this week which is almost over, or next week. After that I could though.
I'd suggest that there are fewer cages on the road during the day on a weekday (which is based on an exceptionally small sample size of one weekend day and one weekday, but seems logical).
That and I've got crap going on every weekend this month, although the 14th and 21st are still open.

Monday or Tuesday...and I have both those days off...lets see what Ike does this weekend and if he dies down and Monday looks good, I think a morning session could work out well, then head over again on Tuesday for another morning session. That way I can go home and pretend like I'll do work at my house and chop wood in the afternoon!
