Saturday 7/3 North Shore MA ride

Mark (TLRMan) shot me a PM earlier this week wondering if i wanted to go for a ride after work... well, since i do'nt get outta work till 10:45pm he wasn't too excited about that idea anymore

SO... we're probably gonna do somethin this Saturday (after i get my ass off my buddy's couch & get over my hangover

)

i'm thinkin Somethin allong the MA North Shore... Gloucester, Rockport, etc etc & maybe end up at Hampton Beach NH. Of course the other idea i have is swinging down to Brockton Cycles to try on some new gear that i'm desperately in need of. Hell, maybe we'll even do both

well... last time i was up before 9:30... if i didn't have that ride to go to i woulda been asleep till 11 or 12.... so it really depends on what time you guys wanna go

i'd like to be able to kinda take my time & meet up w/ you guys around noon

OK, that's it... we're meeting at Noon... where? my suggestion - Masconomet HS Parkin Lot (the one closer to the highway, next to the baseball field)

werd... Masco is super easy to get to...

Exit 51 off RTE 95...
Right if you're goin northbound
Left & over the bridge if you're goin southbound
it's on your right

if you miss it, you shoudn't be riding cuz you're FUCKING BLIND

Then again, maybe we should meet closer to 128 if we're going to Gloucester... but the ride on 97 to Beverly is kinda nice... not really twisty, but nice... and you guys can see my house (where i live w/ my fuckin parents... and yes, i'm 24

)

are you the guy that checked out my 10R yesterday in peabody? do you drive the tan Lexus?

great meeting ya-- as well as riding w/ some of the usual suspects-- and I never woulda found some of those roads (as close as they are) w/out y'all and your local knowledge.

best of all, no damage to plastic, driving records, or sanity... just one close brush w/ death for a manic rodent...

never thought such a nice roads exist in that part of MA.

i love the feel and handling of that big yellow TLR. my impression right now has change completely. thanks Mark for the test ride. that setup is probly perfect for street, even with my weight, and my current setup of 10R is probly better on the track.

i have not regret making the decision. it's also performance and handling. of course the R1 hardcore would not approved.

Well, can't help it....The poor thing was feverishly trying to get back up over the curb. I don't know if you noticed, but, I almost Squished him!

Kham....The "10" does nice stoppies! Maybe we'll have to swap up and blast the twisties... I did notice that the front end felt a little "soft" and steering effort was harder than the TLR's set-up, but I screwed with mine alot...Come back over the house sometime, and we can work on setting it up to your liking...(or mine

)
