Thanks dave and friends, I was feeling like crap after lunch so bailed. Thank you Samwise for sweeping and leading me home, much appreciated.
Thanks for yet another great ride Dave. It was a beautiful day out, nice to see familiar faces.
I only took one pic when we stopped at te cafe...![]()
If you ain't first......you're last!
Nice ride and spectacular views on Rt. 13 in Mont Vernon!
Thanks Dave!
Thanks Dave, Sam and the other elves that keep the group together.
The road selection was great. Discovered some new twisties not too far from home. Nice find, the restaurant. Chatting with everyone is still the best part.
A beautiful day. Thank you all for a great time.
Thank you Dave! Excellent day as always.
Sam
Wonderful time! Sorry for my top box mishap!
Nice. Another Speed Triple. Wish I could have made it.
A very good time. Thanks DucDave for all of it, gadget for sweeping until lunch, and to the guy who rode sweep after lunch. And to Kenn for guiding me home, since I am still pretty unfamiliar with the local geography.

Unfortunately I missed this ride, but I did get to see https://picasaweb.google.com/1128325...eat=directlink, which was interesting.
Thanks Dave for a great ride. Once I sat down for lunch I realized how exhausted I was and decided to head home. I guess I am not 100% recovered from my pneumonia.![]()
Great seeing everyone and meeting a few new faces!

Glad you had fun and it was nice to meet you. I'm greg on the blue 636 that left early with you. Usually you won't have a rider right next to you that passes you randomly and grabs a fistful of brake randomly like the guy I saw. I was a couple bikes behind you for a bit.
Hi Greg. I wasnt sure of your name on the ride home( im bad with names). It was great meeting you and hope to ride with you again

Just an FYI, if you are talking about the incident that happened right as we pulled across the intersection after a stop sign, it was not random by any means. First of all, Dave and the riders in front of me had already began to slow and pull to the right as we waited for others to come across the intersection. As I went to upshift, I hit a false neutral, and then bumped into second without any clutch. The bike launched forward, between Freak and TLRMan. If I had not grabbed "a fistful of brake," there would have been a huge collision between myself and two or three other riders.
It is easy to criticize when you were not the one experiencing the same thing I did. I apologize if that spooked anyone, but I controlled the lurch as best as I could. Everyone makes a mistake here and there, all lessons to be learned.
sveesix, you late braked between TLRMan and myself.... I wasn't spooked, more of a "hey, where did you come from" type of moment. Everyone has those "oh shit" moments, I have on a few occasions myself. Good ride, beautiful weather.... Hope when the fiance---becomes a---->wife I'm allowed out still. Dave, what is your trick again?
Nick
