I saw it the other way around a decade ago when Sevendust opened for Creed at UMASS Amherst.

Not a fan of AlterBridge. Singer sounds like he's trying too hard to be Scott Stapp. The rest of the band rocks though. And Sevendust... I have all their music, so you know where I stand on that.

If there were a better opener, I'd be in.

What a night. Soulodium opened up the night, good music, just didn't like the singer's voice. AlterBridge was really good and I enjoyed seeing them but...Sevendust!!! Oh my...they were ROCKING that stage!! They were awsome, they sounded just like on their albums but it was almost better because you could feel the energy going thru the place. And damn...were they sexy. Arghhh I slept until past 1:00p.m., something I haven't done in years. I was beat! Oh yeah I got me some shwag, a real nice black zip up hoodie, with the blackbird album eagle on the back and a smaller logo on the front. I should go to concerts more often, I had a great time.

I took some crappy pics with my cell.... (I never learn...) and also have a few vids, but altho the image is good, I don't think the cell phone sound is made to record such high powered sound, it came out bad...

That show kicked ass... I've never seen or heard much of Alterbridges tunes but damn, were they rockin!!!!! I'd highly recommend grabbing their discs...

Sevendust rocked as they usually do but I was a bit disappointed at times, they have started to use too much damn sampling and even sampled a shit ton of background vocals... it kinda spoiled it from the previous times I've seen them. Having Clint back in the band was bad ass, that boy is one amazing musician.... and the stage presence.... fucking wicked

let me give ya a little Sevendust background. They are back to their original lineup from when they started. Clint Lowery (guitarist with long black hair) took off for a couple of albums to reunite with his buddies including his brother Corey to form Dark New Day (another great band). A guitarist named Sony Mayo joined Sevendust during this time for two albums, Next and Alpha.

The song that Clint sang is called Hurt, it's a Johnny Cash tune. You can hear that on their Southwide Double Wide Acoustic Album. That album rocks, it also comes with a DVD of the performance...... he also sang Angel's Son along with Lijon

Sevendust has one of the best stage performances by any band I've ever seen. They just really know how to kick balls every time I see them

Sucks that you can only find "Hurt" on the acoustic album, altho it is a good one, I'd like to have a studio recorded version. The one they played on stage the other night sounded AWSOME. I really want to see them again in concert, and will be keeping an eye out on them.
