damn... if i only got home earlier... i just did an hour & 1/2 or so of mostly highway... dragged my ass outta bed at 9am, went from peabody down to braintree, then back up to home... i'm eatin lunch now, but i'm so friggin exhausted i gotta take a nap. sorry guys,i gotta decline the invite... i need the rest after my buddy's b-day party last night

1PM, what a rookie..... you miss the roads being empty early in the morning. I was riding back roads to MM this morning doing more than 2X the posted with no moving road blocks what so ever! It was sweet!!

The Groton and Dunstable townsfolk are gonna skin me alive if they ever find out it was me that turned you guys on to those roads. Glad you all enjoyed them. I take them to work every day. Best part of my rather long commute.

That Roller coaster road is aptly nicknamed, ain't it? Feels just like an old wooden coaster. They could charge a toll on that road.

Squid, i dont think the cut thru road we made was after the roller coaster road. i just checked the map kind of quick. anyway that end of 40 wasn't too bad.

im gonna go ride the fuckin loop every dry day and see what happen.

Oh yeah, also part of my commute now and then. Fun to include a half mile of dirt on the ride. There's another twisty road (when you get to the end of the dirt road, go left then take your first right) that's got some nice bends in it too. Goes nowhere fun though.

If you continue past it about a mile and a half you'll reach another road on the right that goes down to a lake. You can take the first left off that and have a little fun (Half Squid and other's know what I mean) or you can take a right off of it and head back into Westford on a very narrow, desolate and somewhat twisty little lane (pearldog and a few others have been on this one. There's a bunch of fun roads out there. Even the "main" roads 40 and 113 are pretty fun.

I gave some bad information regarding the road diagonally across from roller coaster road. I though you were describing a road a bit further west on 40. Disregard what I wrote.

If you wish to try another fun road, however, at the end of Roller Coaster, take a left on 40 and then the first right. Go right at stop sign. Road turns to dirt at end and has some fun corners on the paved section. Watch for loose gravel though.

is that the dead end road? sort of diagnally across? lots of gravel and very short.
