Afterwork ride Tuesday or Thurday this week?

Looking like the sun will finally come out from behind the damned clouds this week. I probably get out of work considerably earlier than most here, so could head out to meet people in their locale for a ride. I'm itching to get out again in some good weather.

Anyone up for anything?

well tuesday is opening night for motorcycle night and Keira's birthday so you shoukld ride to lowell and check that out on tuesday

I think a few of us are going to be going to the Lowell event on Tuesday. Hopefully the grounds not going to be soaked still. I've never been but I've heard good things about it.

Thats actually a pretty good possibility, I could easily pack on a good chunk of miles between work and riding there. What times the thing start? The usual 6pm? This is at the usual "bike night" spot at the Ice Cream place in Lowell, right?

That would be it - Heritage Farm, I believe. I think it starts at 6 but it may be 7....maybe we can grab Hooters in Nashua before heading down there? Hehe, I said grab hooters.....

Anyone want to meet at Moto Market beforehand at like 5ish? Maybe show me a few nearby "fun" roads? I think I'll have an easier time finding MM than I will Heritage Farms, plus wouldnt mind being shown a few local roads over there, I havent spent much, if any time riding in eastern MA/NH.

Actually, how is Rt. 40? Looks pretty residential with all the side streets on MS Streets&Trips, but who knows. I hate slab, and will do anything to avoid 495. 2 isnt so bad, but 495, fuck that.

Then for the ride home, I could just take 2 or something to 13north, to 111east, to 40east, then it looks like I cross a bridge and I'm just about there.

Glad to hear that a bunch of you are planning on at least stopping by Motorcyclenight tomorrow night.
It is our opening night and thankfully we did not get flooded out!!

The river water never actually came over the wall onto the field, so it didn't get too saturated. But it is really looking good, nice and dry.

Sounds like there may be a few newbies checking things out. That's awesome. This is our 10th year, so we have a lot planned and its' going to be an awesome summer for us.

When you go to Hooters, don't forget to mention Motorcyclenight because they usually give a small discount on your food.

Yup, I should be out of work by 2-3pm, giving me plenty of time to meander east out to MM. (Will be my first time there.

)

I'll hang around for awhile, but will bring directions from there to bike night, so if you're a no-show, not a big deal. I'll PM you my number, and if at some point you'll know whether you wont/will be coming, could just leave me a voicemail to let me know whether I should stick around or not.
