Yes, I believe it is.

I went to Lime Rock once with CARTCT a couple of years ago. It was a blast. I was cutting about a 1:11 in my daily driver. I did NHMS with BMW SCCA two years before that.

Actually, I was re-watching the footage I have and I know I was missing the turn-in point on T1 and it sounds like I was charging the corners a little bit...taking too long to get back on the gas, but it sure didn't feel like it!

I would love to race LimeRock in my WRX. I went there this year to see the ALMS race and fell in love with the track.

You'd love it. Hitting No-name straight WOT, dipping the brakes for the uphill, catching some air at the top and then coming down the hill at 80mph...and chasing Miatas...

The best part for me was passing people at WOT with the supercharger screaming and then people coming up to me later asking 'what the heck is in that thing?!'

I do not remember a beer. But I would hardly be surprised.

Although that points out a way the old thumbs up guy could have been even more epic; if he had a bud in one hand. Old school white and red can, of course.
