Sunday 8/5 Ride: 225 -> 119 -> wherever

Ok, too many PMs so I'm just gonna do the post.

Like subject says, ride is 225 -> 119 -> points unknown (you guys are gonna have to show me, like I said I'm not really familiar with the area).

Meeting 8:30AM @ Dunkin Donuts off 95 exit 31B (across from Stop&Shop/Citizens Bank).

Drinks Saturday night somewhere perhaps if enough people are into it. Say so if you're into it, and someone pick a good bar.

Triumphdog where you at??? I guess these are the details. Me and Dennis and Terry (if Terry is going) and Alicia can meet at my house say 8am and then hop on 95 if that sounds good with everyone???? I'm open for ideas.
As for Saturday night. Alicia, James,Dennis and (Terry if you're going) I'll have plenty of hard alcohol...mostly vodka and rum.... but I don't drink beer, so if you want beer bring your own.

hey Mark...I'm gonna try and make it to the ride...I am working a 4pm-8am sat into sun so if I ride in and can get over to the meeting point in time (coming from MIT) I'll tag along with you guys.

Is exit 31b before or after the I93 I95 split?

I93/I95 split?? I didn't think 95 even ran into 93???? I'm not sure where exit 31 is but If it's on 95 it shouldn't be too hard to find. You should come up 95 going North and you'll probably run right into it.

Ohhh that sucks Terry, no drinkie drinkie for you Sat night???? We can wait for ya Saturday morning if ya want. Shouldn't take you but a half hour from MIT to my house. We could push the meet point for everyone back to 9am if that's ok with everyone else???

Terry: I think you should really consider calling in sick......it would probably be best. There's going to be some drinking going on Saturday night and I know Dennis is going to be heart broken and lonely without his boyfriend........

yeah Dennis does get kinda cranky when he doesnt have enough attention from his chocolate teddy (found out from his mom thats wha he calls me). but I can't call in...damn you guys for doing these on weekends I have to work

. I googled the meeting point and if I can hop onto rt 2 I should be able to make it there by 8:30.

If you head north on I95 it splits. 93N to the right, and 128/95N to the left.
I'll just mapquest it.

It's Bedford/Lexington. You don't wanna take 93. That'll put you farther north than you want to be on 95 I think, and you'd have to backtrack (I think).

I don't mind pushing back the meet time until whenever, I'm not a morning person.

i'm just glad i wasn't lumped into that... yea 95 splits to 95(128) North and 93 North... to get to exit 31, you take 95 north... but as far as meeting the boys on sunday morning, unless by some odd reason i stay down there, I'll make you guys meet up with me on 128 so I don't go all the way to foxboro just to come north again.... Whoa.....I'm so far off!! I was thinking like "NEW BEDFORD" when he said 95 not "BEDFORD".So we're going North then...ok. In that case, Dennis and I can meet in Foxboro then we'll meet up with Triumphdog somewhere on 95. Then the 3 of us can meet Alicia off of 128 at that DD in Canton (right at the foot of Blue hIlls...the old stand by meeting place for us southern NESR's). How's that sound?? If you guys are gonna be at the Canton DD at 8:30 I would def be able to do that. 20min away from working a 16hr shift...and I cant wait to hop on the bike ....curse this addiction

Ok, so DD in Canton at 8:30 sounds good. We'll head out from there at 8:45...that'll give Dennis and Terry enough time to hug, say their "I LOVE YOU'S" and catch up on things.....

do what you gotta do south of boston. I like blue hills, but from where we're coming it would be pretty silly to go all the way down there; only to go way up north again to catch 119.

I'm gonna check out another short road just a bit north of Bedford that we might wanna hop onto for a bit on our way up 119. It looks like another short, windy state forest road like blue hills. i'll look at it & let u know if it's worth it when we meet sunday.

watch out for the deer in blue hills!

Ya I know, I was talking about the southern riders meeting at DD in Canton then meeting up with you guys off 31b. Don't know how long of a ride it is from Canton to 31b though or if everyone else even wants to go up that far, but I'm pretty much open for anything I guess, all depends on how hung over I am though.

Yeah I got no problem riding forever.

Can't make Saturday night though, some last minute plans turned up (per the wife). Well it *is* her birthday this week.
