So this is clearly becoming a weekly thing. This Sunday at Umass, same place, same time. For those of you that don't know:
Place: Southwest Circle, which is at the end of University Dr. on the right, by the basketball courts at UMASS Amherst. Google Maps
Time: 12:00 Noon, call if you are running late, but dont be.
Pace: However you want to ride, just dont put anyone elses life at risk. Also depends on turnout, as smaller groups we tend to go faster than in bigger groups.
We'll stop for lunch, gas, smoke breaks etc.. and if hammadown wants to plan a route its on him. It kinda worked out well just going wherever last week, so thats how Im gonna leave it.
Also if you want to ride from the Springfield area to Amherst we're leaving the Basketball Hall of Fame at 11:00 am.

Jeff, Dave, that was a fun ride the other night. I definitely had some speed to get out of my system! I think Im good now. The bugs are out in full force now! Oh Jeff, so when we were riding Rt.32 I was thinking to myself "Damn I knew there were some twisties on this damn road somewhere! I must be losing my mind!" Sure enough about 5 miles after you turn off, somewhere in the ware area I start seeing (twisties ahead) signs like I've never seen before!
It was like this:
But it had like an extra curve or even two in it. t really didnt last that long, and it was pretty dark by that point. Next time Im getting a pic of the sign though.

Yes it's definitely looking like rain! I dont think Im gonna be able to make this either. I was changing the brake fluid on my bike yesterday and let the master cylinder for the fronts run dry. Now I cant seem to get the air out. I ran out of time to fix it yesterday, and have no time today or tomorrow to work on it either. This sucks.

Weather's looking slightly the better side of 40% chance of rain, getting better after noontime. If anyone else is still planning to go, I'll meet up at UMass, otherwise I'll be out anyway. Gotta break in the new boots and gloves!
I'll probably be out Gene, I rode around today in some drizzle and it wasn't too badI'll keep an eye on the radar maps.

Johhny, shoot me a call if you need any help with the brakes...I could prolly make it up there afetr work most days this week...

Thanks Jeff. The problem was using a mityvac, not realizing there was a bleeder on the master cylinder, and not having an 8mm wrench. I bought the right wrench, had my recently unemployed mechanic friend come over and give me a hand, and bled the three spots by hand and they are now rock solid.
I appreciate the offer though!
