Here's the link to WHJY's list of the summer's best charity runs....

Hope to meet up with some of you, the pig roasts are my favorites![]()
because that is what they are
What a great day and for a great cause!
Since Greg was injured on a sportbike there was a huge turn out of sportbike riders as well as the usual Harley crowd that never fails to support another rider and veteran. Riders helping Riders through and through. It never ceases to amaze me how much of a bad rap you guys place on the 'Harley' crowd and how much of a completely different experience I have when I attend these events.
It does not matter what you ride. Period. I met a broad spectrum of great people and had a great day volunteering for a great cause.
Way to bring the thread down, Mister Cranky Pants............

Went on the ride for Hasbro's Children's Hospital Sunday, weather was spectacular! Rode 50-60 miles through the back roads of Seekonk, Rehoboth and Swansea, ending up at the Elks Lodge on Bristol Harbor. Full police escort meant a steady pace, feet down maybe 3 times. (note to self--wear ear plugs when surrounded by open-piped Harleys)
Here's a couple of very good ones coming up, hope to catch some of you there!

True dat. Pretty cool. I feel like HD riders are just generally more patriotic than sportbike riders are as far as publicly expressing it goes. I don't mean to offend anyone here by saying that so pls don't take it that way fakas if you race around with an american flag sticking out of your passenger peg. I just don't see that too often.
Choosing to own a Harley is like choosing to buy an American car over a foreign one for many owners. I did research on this with countless hours of interviews and analytical review of surveys. Sworn testimonies were also taken. I swear.
Duct tape is like "The Force". It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
This one is for my good friend Brian that was killed on his motorcycle and is for a fabulous cause that helps victims and family members of those hurt or killed on their motorcycle.
