Older Guy 600 F4I rider. Got the bike last August and am still getting used to it. I have been getting out for 2-3 hour rides on weekend mornings. Trying to get some country road rides down where I can have some fun but stay out of trouble. Would rather ride with company but right now no other Formula 40(older guys) around. I definitly am too slow for you younger guys but I get on it a bit where I feel it's safe. Anyone interested I can meet right off exit 20 or wherever. I like to hit the road early enough to be done before it gets hot out so that'll probably cut out some "younger guys",eh. (My sons both have 6s but they can't get out of bed much less function at the time of the wknd AM that I'm prepping my bike.)
Take note, the touristoes definitely appear to be down in numbers this yr.

Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Hey Jay - been OK man, still ridin thought been dealin with some throttle wrist pain for awhile. You get used to it. That why I picked up the 6 last August. The light weight and easy throttle are great. I have been keeping the beast covered in the basement.

Nikon, sounds good, but it's more our schedule's than location cause I'm about right in between Conc and Bristol. Either way let me know when and we'll figure out where. Right now I work every 3rd Sat (next one 8/11) but am alway's off Sundays.
I did take a 70 miler Sun morn with my kid who's old enough to kill but not drink. We had a pretty good ride, weather was perfectoe. Kids a natural on his 03 RR. He grew up on dirt bikes.
I coulda taken a break then hit a few more twisties but he had other plans, and I was feelin the ride. It was woodsy backroads and you've gotta be on your game to handle sudden obsticles, ya know whatamean.

NO Problem Mister Stoneman. How's life down on the lake. Riding much? We've been over to the track a few times. Seen some pretty god racing.

Thxs for the heads up but have prior stuff on Sun. Would love to hit gaps again, it's been awhile. Have you been this summer? Are they in decent shape? Will be looking for a ride report for that info. Will also be watching for another ride with you guys since the best riding weather of the year is about here.
