I keep thinking i'm done for the year every time i get home from a ride, but the nice days have kept coming. Low to mid 60's on Sunday, and the wife and kids at her parents visiting is the perfect combination to go put some miles on the bike.....
I'm just north of Boston and will ride pretty much anywhere. A couple guys mentioned western ma in my other thread.... Open to ideas. If i don't hear much back for this i'll plan something out and hit the road solo..
2006 Yamaha R1, Graves Full Exhaust, BST Carbon Fiber Wheels, K&N Air Filter, EGR Blockoffs, Factory Pro Velocity Stacks, Power Commander 5, Stealth 520 Conversion -1/+1, FP levers, Ohlins shock, Ohlins fg327 forks, Ohlins steering damper, Sato racing rearsets, Goodridge SS shadow brakelines, EBC Extreme pads, Braking SK wave rotors F&R. few other appearance mods.
Im down. I usually like the route 2 area and then after that coming back through 116 via conway.
There are some other roads out there, but I pnly know the big ones Ive been on a couple of times.
i'm fine with whatever.. i'm getting ready to head out for a while tonight but just post up a meeting point and a time.( can't do it before 10) if you want to pm me your # i'll touch base in the morning

@HO-HUM-R1 ...are you still going on a ride tomorrow?
I dont know of any routes or places, just want to tag along if you have something in mind. I live in Quincy, so let me know, any time after 10am is fine with me too.

Ill pm a few folks my cell number.
Ahh shoot, I did not know about this, the mohawk trail is closed until the beginning of the new year. Pretty much puts an end to my trip idea as the mohawk trail was probably the biggest part of the ride.

I'm headed north into Maine today. It's off season, so I'm doing the coastal route; 103 and 1 up the coast through Kittery, York, Wells.. possibly all the way to k'port. Brining the camera and am going to aim to get some shots of Nubble Light, etc.
This is the best tome of year to ride the seacoast; no tourists.
still up for something if any ones got any last minute ideas. Maine trip might be fun.
I'm sorry I missed you guys this morning, the night got way longer than i meant for it to.. I just got home from foxboro.. I hope you guys still got together and are having a good trip.

Sigh. Fixed.
I just got home. About 3-4 hours and ~130 miles.
Am about to go out and pull the oil plug out of the bike for the season. I'm okay with today being the last for the year. Basically made it to t-day. Not bad.
Hope some of you got a ride in today. Weather was pretty nice for it. Only saw a couple bikes on the road, until I made it back to Dover. There were a bunch parked downtown.
I got stuck behind a reeeeeeally slow moving prius with CT tags on one of my favorite coastal routes. Other than that...
Bike oil is changed, tires pumped up, bike is covered and pushed into the corner of the garage. That's all folks.
